It has all the essential groceries you may need. Fairly organized, easy to find what you’re looking for. It has a non prescription pharmacy, a clothes store, an electronics store, a space for a quick snack, a dry cleaning stand and a newsagent. Pretty complete, all in one place.
Biggest supermarket in town, with the broadest variaty of produce. If you can’t find it here, you better go to Lisbon.
Typical Portuguese supermarket with everything for your daily needs and most of the extra stuff you might need.

Long queues. Multiple cash registers closed. Poor cell reception. Otherwise good. Big. Modern infrastructure. Friendly staff.

We have been to many Continente across Portugal and we have been comfortable with the services provided. But this Continente Modelo doesn’t seemed to know what constitute good customer service. Firstly it was difficult to find anyone to help. Finally we approached the reception and asked where to get Farelo de Arroz / Trigo. We were given a vague negative answer. When we asked further stating that we have previously purchased in another outlet, the lady replied that the outlets do not carry the same products. In exasperation, we asked for an English speaker as there was no attempt at checking the availability of the product in question. Lo and behold, she suddenly spoke in English. We approached the seafood section and asked for sapateira. We were vaguely told to go to the freezer. We couldn’t find any sapateira and when queried the lady again, she merely shrugged her shoulders. Looks like this outlet has a systemic customer service problem. Very frustrating and disappointed.
Looks fine, but isn’t a continente supermarket, but a different kind of supermarket.
Good prices and many sales. Fresh and good quality food market.

This is the closest to a GIANT American-style grocery store we have seen in Portugal. It is a huge store, with groceries, clothing, hardware, housewares, books, electronics, and things I have not discovered yet.
This branch of Continente is a very well stocked and large branch. They have underground car parking and also a cafe.
The shop has almost everything you need if staying in a local apartment – especially nice seafood and cheese sections!

Have materials for basic needs for house- and garden fixing. As a carpenter I could wish for a better line up of professional tools, but if you’re a novice and just need some machine that doesn’t cost too much and not going to use day after day they have good prices. This is not one of the biggest Leorys so they might not have everything you’ve seen in other stores.
Love the store layout. Spacious. Clean. Wide variety of tools, construction and renovation materials, gardening, etc.
Staff that I dealt with so far found to be helpful, professional and friendly
Very bad after sale services, Very slow and don’t have enough technicians to finish the work. They wasted my time for three weeks and now I need to look outside for a technician

It’s a great store. Has probably all of the most popular brands, variety of categories, from audio up to bags. It’s pretty big also, prices are a little on the expensive side, but you gain allot of perks by buying from them, it has a repair center I believe. Totally recommend.
~50% cash registers open with long queues. Self-service frequently lock and require manual unlock from busy staff. Poor loyalty program (requires Oney credit card, which apparently requires you work in Portugal). Fake sales (38% discounts on items ~38% inflated).
Very polite staff and a very nice selection of items. However, I got a bit lost as I couldn’t figure out the organization of some items but I found some swedish Billy’s Pizza, so I was happy nonetheless.

I like this store because it has a lot of options when it comes to products. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the main entrance space is rather narrow. They have stores separate to InterMarche and because of the pandemic, as people wait to enter the small stores it blocks the entry way. Other than that this space offers variety and has helpful workers to inform where products are. They also have a 24 hour pharmacy connected to the main store.
Selection is great with good fruit and meat and fish.
The Malveira store is however not the greatest Intermarche, with not many cashier’s which spikes waiting times when paying.
The parking area is also not amazing, having to walk a long distance with groceries

Large supermarket with “all” you may require. Free parking, fish, meat, bakery, butcher, vegetables, and utilities. Open 7 days a week.
It also has a section with snacks and light meals; has take away option. Here you may find grilled meat, pizza, sandwiches, and even sushi.
Additional sections include pets, some auto accessories, clothes (including a small area for sport goods – from Decathlon), home appliances, health food, non-prescription medications, … You also have a specialised shop for electronics, TV, phones, computer, music instruments.
Staff is usually very nice. Overall an excellent resource that is almost always available.
Among the Auchan Stores in Portugal this would not be top. But having said that it is still an Auchan and among the best stores in the world, IMHO. A generous electronics section too for all your multimedia and appliance needs. Ample parking. Easy access, short drive from Lisbon.
They don’t want to return item that I bought 24h ago because I didn’t have plastic wrap “original packaging” shame on Auchan! Lady was extremely rude didn’t want to help! Not nice experience!

Disappointing, the line was very slow. It doesn’t have major discounts like the website or other shops. If you only need the basics it’s a good place, but for a bigger shop there’s better places.
Small shopping mall with pharmacy, electronics and cloth shop. it’s very good for fast shopping, the counter was a bit harsh, needs to be improved. Great promotions.
