Had 1 guy come 3 times over a week. Nothing was caught and the problem persisted. After calling them again and leaving a message, I had no reply. I paid PS145 upfront for absolutely nothing.
I have now changed to a much better pest control company who come back once a week to reset traps etc. When a trap goes off, he comes and empties it as soon as he can. And also is PS50 cheaper for sucessful work!!
If you want your pest problem sorted, I would not recommend this company at all.
Andrea was very efficient at the outset after outlining my problem. Jacob arrived on-time each of the 3 visits he made. He was extremely polite, informative and helpful and the rodent problem was effectively dealt-with. The cost was fair we thought. I was very impressed with DPC and would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others. Jacob. a young man, really impressed us from the outset. We wish him well in the family business.
Better than therapy. After spending a week walking round the house armed with a broom, Jacob came out and SORTED THE VISITORS. Very thorough, very flexible with time, great comms, a proper rodent detective, no stone left unturned. We have our house back, and at a fraction of the cost of [insert name of nationwide pest control company here who didn’t really listen and weren’t flexible and wanted paying on the phone at first contact]

I can highly recommend Kieran for any of your pest control issues. He came very promptly when I had an issue with a mouse in the house. He was very thorough in checking where the problem might be and gave great advice and reassurance that I didn’t have an infestation to deal with. In his 3 visits he made sure there were no other mice to deal with, blocked up possible areas to reduce the chance of others getting in, and even dealt with an ants nest for me for good measure. Communication at all times was great, prices were fair, and he always came on time. I hope not to need his services again, but I’ll definitely be calling him if I do.
We had a hornet’s nest in our garden shed which had to be removed for obvious safety reasons. Kieran responded within an hour to the message we left on his answerphone and was able to visit our property on the following day. He removed the nest with the minimum of fuss. We were delighted with his prompt and efficient service.
After finding rats on my property, I rang Kieran and he was quick to book me in. He was very polite and got the situation under control for me! Even came back to check that there wasn’t anymore rats and his measures had worked. Thanks again Kieran. Will definitely be recommending you others.

I called this company to ask advice and hopefully secure their services in dealing with a stubborn rat problem in my garden (the one star is for answering the phone) but the Operator’s tone was abrasive, arrogant, rude and condescending, really unhelpful and most definitely not the response I was expecting from a company that calls itself local and friendly, which was really disappointing given the other great reviews I’d read before contacting them? I understand being giving advice, I would have welcomed that but to talk like we had done something terrible, firing blunt questions and then talking about legal implications of us trying to manage the problem ourselves was shaming and upsetting, it was like he was doing us a favor, not us actually paying him for his services….for a Cornwall company, it was less Proper job and more Proper Jobs worth! Luckily I have now secured the services of another local Cornwall company who couldn’t have been more understanding or helpful and who will be visiting us tomorrow.
Fumigation for cluster fly treatment. Amazing service, I Called at 9PM on a friday evening, Danny responded instantly & put mind at ease. Was on site first thing Saturday morning, sorted issue & kept me updated throughout process. Even came back on the Sunday to clean up the dead flies & re assure me it was safe for my family to re enter the house after fumigation. Thank you for all your help 10/10

Neil was absolutely fantastic! We cannot recommend him enough!
Quite a unique story for the books! Our pet rat got loose from her cage underneath the kitchen cabinets for 2 days! We couldn’t get anyone else to come and help us late at night nor to humanely attempt to find her. With one quick phone call to Neil late at night he was with us within 2 hours, coming from the north coast of cornwall/devon to the south coast, can’t complain! At no point did he suggest inhumanely catching our little friend, he came prepared with various plans to catch her and luckily the first method worked! She came out unharmed and happy to be back with her sisters!
He was professional all the way through and even checked up on us the next day to make sure all was still okay. We couldn’t have been happier with the entire service.
No matter how odd or unique your situation is, i highly recommend giving Neil a call! He is courteous throughout and honest about his approach.

After speaking to Neil, and having a lengthy conversation after having bad experiences with pest control services before, he completely put me at ease about exactly what it is he needed to do and the process of what I needed to do to ready the property.
He arrived at the time he said he would and talked my partner and I through the whole process and what it was he was going to do. He’s a very friendly, yet professional guy, and made the effort to put things back as neatly as possible if he needed to move anything. He also offered us a return visit should we need it.

Extremely happy with this service! Neil was very lovely and professional, he came out late last night to help tackle this spider infestation in my bedroom/house. He was very thorough, the job wasn’t rushed and he did an amazing job at getting rid of them all! He was also extra cautious about noise as I have a little baby in the house, which I was very appreciative of!

Gren arrived bang on the time he arranged and from the start was very friendly and informative about mole activity and their antics.
Gren outlined the price, which is very reasonable by the way, and how he would lay traps etc and also informed us about potential dangers for our pet and children. Once he had covered all aspects of his trade, Gren set about laying the traps immediately which I was very impressed with as I did not expect that. His professionalism and dedication to his trade is second to none and his friendly nature reassured us no end that our problem would be solved. I was also impressed with the fact that if he did not catch any moles then there would be no cost to us at all, that in this day and age is really quite special.
Top job done and two moles caught, and we can now get our lawn back.
I have no hesitation at all in recommending Gren, he is professional, dedicated, friendly, who gives a really fair price and is a really good bloke to boot. I would use Gren again in an instant if needed.

Phoned Gren in the week between Christmas and New Year about our rat issue thinking he might not be available till sometime in the New Year, he came the next day. He was so professional in his approach to sorting our problem and so thoughtful on the best way to achieve this given we have a dog.
He contacted us on a regular basis to see how things were progressing and had it been necessary would have returned to put in place further measures.
Would definitely recommend him and if we have further rodent issues Gren’s number is on speed dial.
If I could give Gren at South Hams Molecatcher more than 5*, I would. He was so helpful and fit me into his schedule on short notice. After multiple visits to ensure the moles were indeed removed, I noticed a mole hill on a Sunday morning. I quickly sent Gren a message, so not to forget, and before I knew it Gren was at my house setting new traps. The last mole was removed and my vegetable patch is happier for it. Great guy and great service. Thanks again!

This review is for the cafe.
This is a luxury lasagne. We ordered 1 baguette and 2 Lasagnes. Baguette came after 40 mins, which was great, though. This was a Costa range. The Lasagnes took another 10 mins. They were obviously microwavable meals as saw the packet size. The salad was ready for the bin. When complained about the standard of the meal, I was told they had run out of the Lasagne and went downstairs to get 2 out of the Iceland shop! Visited this cafe 12 mths ago and had the Lasagne, which was great. I had this again last time we visited and was disappointed, so gave it another go. I’ve noticed so much food disappearing off the menu and the speciality Costa drinks advertised but they can’t do them as not the right ingredients. Next time will eat elsewhere before dining here.
Not a bad shop overall, it can be a little cluttered in some of the aisles, so getting a trolley around can be more difficult than it needs to be sometimes.
Main problem with this shop, is their inability to manage the trolleys in the car park, I can’t remember the last time I’ve gone to park in the parent and child spaces without having to move trolleys.
I get that this is really an issue of lazy patrons using the trolleys, but if they had more trolley bays or kept the coin slots for getting a trolley, this may stop this happening.
Huge amount of “range”. However the only thing stopping me from giving it a better review is the fact that there is no air con for the staff. I came away from only 25 minutes in their needing a cold shower to remove the sweat. And yet, the staff are expected to run around on their feet all day in that heat. Yes there were fans, but all that does is propel hot air around. I feel for the staff and hope they’re able to sort it.
Nice range of glasses and kitchen stuff though, really happy with my find

Ben was great, his returned my call immediately and scheduled us in for the next working day. He arrived on time, had a good look around our house, fixed our issue for a very fair fee and we haven’t had a problem since. We would definitely recommend Ben and we’d use him again (although hopefully we won’t need to now).
Ben is affable, punctual, reasonably priced and, importantly, persistent. He returned to us until he had eradicated our mole problem, and we can recommend him without reservation. Thanks Ben.

Had a problem with mice in a rental flat in a Victorian town house. The tenant was distraught and wanted to move out.
Orlando from Rokill was fantastic, polite and professional. He reassured the tenant whilst inspecting the property and identified all the actions necessary to control the infestation. Crucially he was very effective in persuading some of the other home owners in the building that the infestation required a whole building solution.
Since his visit and implementation of his recommendations there have been no sightings of mice or their droppings.
Very impressed.
We called Rokill after spotting some rodents passing through our garden, thankfully they came the next day at the time they said they would, which was such a relief, Dave was very friendly, professional and thorough in his work. Due to an ongoing rat issue at my social housing property, Magna HA employed Neil from Guardian Pest Control to visit. Neil is extremely knowledgeable, professional and very considerate. After a 3rd visit when the rats had returned, as I can hear them in the loft which is very noisy, he even went to next door’s property, after seeking permission, and was able to locate an entrance the rats were using in the wall. He sealed this off and thankfully from a follow-up today, there is no further evidence of their return, which I am soo pleased about. I would highly recommend Guardian Pest Control who go over and above. Thank you very much.
I called at 9am with a wasp nest problem that was in the wall of my house. I got a call back at 9.30am and Matt was at my door just gone 10am! Amazing service! Matt is very polite, professional and informative. He put me at ease, answered all my questions and got the job done. Within half a day, all wasp activity had gone. I highly recommend and will definitely use again.

He visited a couple of days later and was very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. He even got rid of a dead pheasant that had appeared in my garden.
