Grateful for the store being here in Marinha Grande, it makes life little easier, however the prices for basic items is a huge downside, this store most times more expensive than the smaller local hardware stores.
Have been there quite a bit since my husband died. And all I can say is everybody there has been so helpful to me . They show me how to do it and are so very friendly . Thanks to all the Staff
New shop..be careful, some equipment are low prices and of course a little bit low quality

This shop should not sell animals. They are not cared for properly, especially the hamsters.
I took this hamster home today because I wanted to SAVE it from all the other hamsters who were constantly fighting her, and ganging up on her. This was due to the fact that there were two different nests that were put together in the display.
Months ago I also saw a dead hamster in their displays, it had ants walking all over it. There was still another hamster in the same display too, living with its dead friend.
It is beyond me that a store that does not know how to care for its animals, is allowed to sell them. I come here to buy food and products for my pets, but I can’t believe I have to witness something like this every time.
Very good primarily agriculture store now becoming increasingly popular. Varied selection from wine to Wellington boots with good choice of small farm equipment. Our dog loves their Italian recipe food. Parking sometimes limited.
Competitive prices across their offerings.
Good farmer’s supermarket, everything from live poultry, through tropical fish to dog food. They also have wine making equipment and stills! There’s a donation box too for the local dog rescue that’s nice to leave a contribution.

Plenty of options are available in this location especially vegetables, nuts, and fruits and they are always fresh. It is easily accessible with a lot of free parking spaces within the premises.
You can also dine-in or take-away your food from the restaurant and snacks bar that are within the hall. Laundry services as well as fuel station are in this location in case you want to do your laundry and iron them or fill your car with fuel.
You can also do your hair in the salon or cut your house keys in case you need extra pieces in hand at this location. Pharmacy store is just nearby and other government offices are a stone throw away.
This store in Marinha Grande has lots to offer, great selection of local fruits, cheese, meat etc. The store is normally busy after working hours, on the weekends people are a bit more relaxed. There is great selection of wines and local breads.
Great supermarket with a nice little cafe inside. Love the people working here, they remembered me and my husband and help us to learn Portuguese.

A supermarket where you can find almost anything ranging from groceries, shoes, bikes, lights, etc. Prices are very competitive and I would make this the first stop before doing any other shopping. Conveniently located in the Leiria Shopping, it is the first shop to open. A cafeteria is located within it for added value and service
Awesome place to shop. So many great stores to visit and so many wonderful, helpful vendors. And if you are a tourist and don’t speak Portuguese – don’t worry the majority can and do speak English.
Very well equipped supermarket. Also in same shopping centre various stores from electrical appliances,books and food stalls. Good underground parking area.

From the very first time a friend told us about Leroy till today (many months later)
Leyroy has always been a go-to store for us.
You can buy any and everything in there, from construction materials to garden items to summer or winter items, you also get to buy doors, paints ……. Infact Christmas trees.
Any and everything you might need while settling in.
They have a lot of stuff, but the staff is not trained. They simply do not know what they sell nor how to handle e.g. a solar panel. We will return though, because of the product portfolio and availability.
Rude security guard asked us to get off patio furniture after we were sitting on it for 3 minutes while we waited for someone to checkout. Made us feel very unwelcome.
