I’ve rated one star because whilst the cleaning work was decent and the cleaning team were polite, the emotional sensitivity and the professionalism of the company was not. This was the part that was important to us in such a delicate time.
I hired this company for a trauma cleaning service after an unattended death. I asked several times to give me a time slot so I could prepare my grandparents for the visit and was told that I would be told shortly. After payment I received no further communication. Instead they arrived the next day with no warning and caused severe distress to my confused and elderly grandparents. I had to rush around to their house to explain what was happening and calm them down. Not something anyone wants after a death in the family.
I have contacted Ideal to raise my complaints but the apologies I received back can do very little now to undo the damage done. I’ve written this review to warn others who may be contemplating hiring this company after a family death.
We booked a deep clean + biosweep treatment for our new flat across 3 days, as the previous owner was an indoor chainsmoker and also did not really clean much (or at all..) during his years there.
Jessica was super quick to respond and incredibly helpful with all of our questions. She was accommodating of our changing schedules as well and was able to flexibly book us in a day earlier, so that we could finish by the weekend.
The team sent Andreea & Irina who did an absolutely incredible job. They were incredibly thorough with the cleaning — every nook & cranny, every groove etc was all scrubbed and cleaned. It was honestly the best outcome I could’ve hoped for. The house was super filthy when we first saw it, with lots of stained surfaces and nicotine/dirt buildup everywhere. They were on time everyday and super friendly as well. Thank you so, so much for your help. If you need similar services, I would recommend this business.

They did a superb job to clear and clean the house following the fire. They worked tirelessly until the job was done and their attention to detail was second to none. They were extremely professional and showed great care and empathy to our needs at this very difficult and stressful time.
We are so grateful to them as their hard work will enable us now to move forward with our lives and start to rebuild everything that we have lost.
