I came to pick up an order and while I was waiting there was a employee more interested in rubbing her face with Aloe vera from a fresh plant than to assist any customers. When finally another employee named “Angie” offered her help and I pointed out my dissatisfaction about being ignored by the “plant-girl”. She said that “This is collection”. Basically saying that it is okay for that girl to be very busy with Aloe Vera rubbing instead of customers. I showed the QR code and was then told by Angie she needs the order number because she didn’t had a scanner. I left the shop and obtained the order number and then it wasn’t needed anymore because it turns out a very helpful girl named “Jodie” had a scanner and could help me immediately. It seemed that “Angie” just couldn’t be bothered looking for one and rather have a customer leave the store to come back later because she simply couldn’t be bothered. An utter disgrace. Angie and “Plant girl”; take some lessons in customer service from Jodie!

Such helpful staff. Thank you to all the staff who worked on sat 18th august pm shift. I went to get some paint and had a great experience with the staff who sorted it out and gave me some advice. I then went to the shop beside it and when I returned to my car I realised the key had broken and the shops were closing in 10minutes. I quickly raced in to b&q, staff made an announcement and all other staff were up and down the aisles looking. I had my small daughter with me and eventually found the key on the footpath outside. The staff then went above and beyond at helping me get the car started as the key had completely broken off. I am from an hour away and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without all their help. With 10minutes to go until closing, on a Saturday night they all took time to help me. They are such amazing staff at the Lisburn/Sprucefield b&q! Thank you

They have everything you need to enjoy your home and garden, from flowers and plants to tools, furniture and homeware. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.

I especially liked the restaurant, where I had a delicious lunch with a view of the beautiful gardens. They have a deli bar and an in-store butcher, as well as a farm food hall with local produce. The food was fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. The soft play area was also a big hit with kids, who had a lot of fun while I browsed the store.

Dobbies Garden Centre in Lisburn is more than just a garden centre, it’s a destination for the whole family. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves gardening, shopping, or just relaxing in a lovely environment. It’s one of the best garden centres I’ve ever been to, and I can’t wait to go back!

Dobbies of Lisburn what a disappointment. Supposed to be a good quality place to be for a leisurely shop to a garden center and something to eat . The garden centre was confusing the lay out was weird but the restaurant and toilets were of very poor standard. Food was heated up frozen style and the tables were grubby and the toilets were disgraceful . Not hygienic and although most of the people who were there were older this is problematic for your reviews because your not getting a bigger picture . You definitely need to shake up your whole system .Didn’t feel like a well run garden center and did not do Dobbies good name proud . Very sorry to post such a daming review but in these times people’s hard earned money could be far better spent elsewhere where .

Cafe was virtually closed around 3.30pm. Hardly any food available bar biscuits, crisps, scones and a couple of buns. Cup for tea was covered in tea stains and no tea spoons either. No skimmed milk available. Had to pour milk from a heavy flask into the smallest ceramic milk jar with a tiny opening – some craic. Not enough comfortable chairs – lots of wooden chairs or wooden benches but few padded seats and any they had were low to the ground and hard to get out of for older people not to mention the low table too. The book selection used to be great but it’s now rubbish. Completely rubbish. Not as many gift items now. Plant selection was fine. Outdoor furniture is seriously overpriced!
