I first engaged with Toners for a timber and damp/rot survey that was needed to secure the mortgage on our house. The survey was extremely thorough and picked up on all the problems in the house (which there were many) so we knew what to expect. We went ahead with the purchase and booked the guys in for the work.
The list was substantial – chipping back to brick outside and rerendering, replacing wood, treating wood, pointing, replacing beams, excavating tons of rubble from under the house, structural work, fixing a bay roof, guttering, improving air flow, resealing windows etc etc loads more. Too much to list.
They were great to work with and it all went to plan. They finished on time, kept me in the loop and were very considerate. They are really hard workers and offered solutions wherever problems arose. It’s a great team.
Our new neighbours actually commented on their work ethic too, so I’ve passed the details on. Can’t recommend them enough. Cheers to the Toner crew!
PS I was originally put onto another “damp specialist” by the estate agent before buying the house. He was “easy to pay and knows his stuff”…nope…complete cowboy. Just be careful who you hire and make sure they’re professionals. I dodged a bullet.
I recently had a damp survey and damp proofing works carried out by Toner. From start to finish they have been perfect. Throughout the process they were always bang on time and communicated with me regularly. When I received the results of my survey they answered all of my questions right away (and there were lots!). When the work started the guys were excellent, they arrived bang on time every morning and at the end of the day the whole property was left neat as a pin. Any time I had a query they sorted it out right away and they have done a very neat job all round. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and wish I had called them in sooner!
Joe and Kevin treated my loft for woodworm. It took a phone call and a few texts to get it arranged.A few days later they arrived on time and got started right away. They were very professional and helpful. The treatment was done on all the roof timbers and under floor of my loft.The job wasn’t easy and they did it in about 2 and a half hours. No mess and no fuss and no disruption. They were really lovely and friendly guys and gave me loads of advice. I’m very happy I went with Toner for this job as other companies were reluctant to do it. Excellent service.

I was very happy with The Country Gardener. They performed two jobs for me, fruit tree planting and another job where I needed them to plant a large number of trees along a border of my property.
Aaron and his team were very professional, they studied the land, tested the ground, give me recommendations for different trees and took the time to consider the job and tree positions.
The guys took pride in their job and seemed to like what they do. They were also very knowledgeable about tree types, various tree planting products (bone meal etc) and tree supporting techniques.
They are proper, professional, knowledgeable gardeners. 5-Stars
My garden was looking a bit like a jungle… Not any more, Aaron and his team did an amazing job bringing it back to a more manageable condition. There is more work to be done but I know that the guys at The Country Gardener can handle it.
The tarmac driveway was starting to gather moss over the years. Not a problem for Aaron, he now has it looking almost like new.

I love efficiency – they responded to my enquiry straight away, worked flat out the whole time they were here, and I am really pleased with the result. What a brilliant experience !
This private falconry experience was a present for our father for fathers day as he loves birds !
We were met with david who on 1st impression was a well mannered down to earth friendly man , none of us had ever seen or been involved in falconry so he immediately put us at ease being so welcoming !
David took us to an area and started to show us different types of birds along with his wife jo , we met two owls a hawk and a golden eagle up close ! David and jo both were so informative with each bird and we saw them fly close to us and eat their dinner , being so close to these birds was amazing !
They then gave us each a glove to put on our left hand and we met charlie , we stood with some food and charlie flew to us all to collect his dinner ! None of us has ever done this and everyone was amazed!
David and jo then had us all stand different positions and charlie flew in through different sized spaces really close to our faces and bodys it was something else !!!
We were then took into a field and shown the skill , speed and accuracy of a peregrine falcon called lady , to watch that bird gather speed and altitude and then swoop down and hear the noise of the speed on its feathers was a great show to watch!
All of us had a fantastic time so thank you david and jo you have great love for every single bird you own and its obvious you both take the time to look after and train them its a credit to you both ! Thank you for a lovely day out ! We would highly recommend this to anyone!!!
NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HAWK WALK NI AT ALL
when we all arrived at breckenhill estate we followed the signs to the hawk walk and parked along the long lane , my father who has went through bowl cancer and beat it had to use the toilet , there was a wedding at breckenhill but there was toilets situated outside so as he nipped in there myself my partner and my family was stood waiting on him admiring the surrounding area ( which is beautiful!) As we stood a little past the toilet area a man approached us in a leather gardening hat a waistcoat with breckenhill embroidered on it , he looked like a grounds keeper and in a very condescending manner said (in an english accent )’ you do know theres a wedding going on here ‘ as in implying we were loitering … We said yes we can see that we are here for the hawk experience … The man said again in much more condesending tone ‘ theres a wedding goin on ‘ we didnt appreciate his tone of voice as we were doing nothing but waiting on our father and waiting on the previous group to finish up with the hawk walk falconers. Mr groundskeeper your attitude is very rude
We had a Fantastic afternoon with David and Jo from hawkwalksni. We Learned so much about these magnificent birds. David and Jo have so much passion for these animals which are part of their family. The knowledge and expertise our hosts displayed during the walk is incredible. Great interaction with the birds, flying to and feeding from your hand is an experience you will always remember. The birds all have different hunting skills and abilities which David and Jo explain in detail throughout the experience. David and Jo, Thank you so much for our amazing experience. We will definitely be back for another visit.
My partner booked the visit for my birthday as birds of prey have always fascinated me. I was blown away meeting these fantastic birds (Albert-Barn Owl, Aurora-Harris Hawk, Pilgrim-Bald Eagle and Vader-Peregrine Falcon). I would like to draw your attention to one of the employees of your company. Well, on 5/9/22 I went to pick up the previously purchased goods that were purchased by your app. My surprise was that your employee named Michele from your store in Larne City asked me to show the Argos card physically. I said that I do not have such a card, but I have the order number and a photo of the card. Your employee said it was not enough so I called a friend of mine who is disabled to present the card via online video. Because he was ordering via the Internet and I am only his guardian. Your employee was still relentless, which made me embarrassed when he buys your store for a long time and this method was enough for me to pick up the previously ordered goods. I had to go to Glenarm, where my disabled friend lives, put him in the car and specially return to Larne to show the Argos card in person, this trip totaled 60 miles because I had travel to do this route twice and the item cost only PS 20. Fuel costs were inadequate to the price of the goods. Is this how your friendly policy towards the consumer is supposed to look like?
Staff are great here, knowledgeable and helpful. I bust my back because I fell like a sack of potatoes in the snow a while ago and one of your members of staff nearly jumped at the chance to help me out to the car with my items, I didn’t get their name unfortunately but he’s a hero.

I’d happily recommend Sebastian based on my own experience of his work. Arranging the appointment was very easy and he arrived promptly to begin the cleaning process. I was very impressed by his knowledge and the time he took to explain both what he was doing and why. Every room was examined with the thermal camera. The work was completed to the highest standard and I was informed of the progress throughout. A detailed report containing the survey findings and recommendations was also provided. I’m very glad to have used Cleaning Contractors NI and would be my first call again.
Sebastian was fantastic. Turned up on time, explained step by step what he would do throughout the process. Provided a detailed report and recommendations on how we could solve our mould issue. Sebastian cleaned and sanitised our house and the effected mould areas. He also provided recommendations of trades people who could assist us with the recommendations. We would highly recommend Sebastian and his wife’s cleaning services as they were carried out to the highest standard. We will definitely use his other services regarding cleaning again.
Sebastian was wonderful from start to finish. I called him as a guest we were hosting had smoked in their room and we required that the odour be removed quickly. Sebastian talked me through the options and was able to squeeze us in the next evening – which was so important for us due to the business we could have lost if there had been a long wait.
He arrived on schedule and explained everything clearly as well as providing a quote for the work in advance.
All in all a very positive experience and professional and efficient service!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I bought a pull cord shower switch which didn’t last 24 hrs and failed when I was preparing to go to work. Took it back and after a lot of haggling( to a point I was made to feel like a liar)because I didn’t have the receipt but proof of the transaction on my banking app.
The replacement lasted only 12 days and failed when my guests who had come visiting for Easter were preparing to go catch their flight!!
Went back with the SECOND faulty switch in its original packaging and was told by the guy on duty at customer service desk(at about 13:45 on 01/04/2024) that HE WILL NOT REFUND/REPLACE unless I provide a receipt even though the packaging has a bar code that was used when I got the replacement. I asked to see someone else who might help and he rudely replied that he had the final say and it was my responsibility to prove the purchase with a receipt ONLY!!
I feel extremely disappointed and was embarrassed like a petty thief trying to score a PS13 switch.VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
