HUGE waste of money. Paid over $3000.00 in 2021 to have our house “rodent proofed”. Last winter still could hear rodents in ceiling and walls and for the first time ever had rodents inside our house. Contacted Skedaddle in March and were told that due to them being a no-kill company we were on our own dealing with the rodents inside. I arranged for Darryl to come and do another inspection to see where the rodents were gaining entry. Darryl and Todd found a spot in the corner of a roof/wall conjunction that was covered only with plywood and had a hole consistent with roof rats. They commented that this was very poor construction and a very easy entry point and also noted that the tops of our columns were known entry points for rodents and should be sealed all for an additional $845.00. I contacted the company twice in the last month asking why these obvious entry points were not caught in the initial “rodent proofing” and why we are expected to pay additional money for areas that were missed and have received no contact back from Darryl. 3 roofing companies have expressed grave concerns about how the screens were secured to the roof, noting it is a risk for slow leaks to develop where screws were placed through the roof. A dryer technician also said the reason our dryer required servicing was due to the metal screen that should never be placed over the outside vent and instead recommended a $20 basket style with a hinge for easy removal of dryer lint. Although Darryl and his crew were very pleasant and seemed professional and although I really wanted a humane solution, the bottom line is we paid a lot of money, still have rodents, and have had zero response from the company.

We called Darryl and Todd from Skedaddle Kelowna to remove a mommy racoon and her babies. They were amazing to work with (including Justin who was on day 1 of the job) – extremely professional but very friendly and courteous at the same time. They kept us updated during the process of removal so we knew exactly what was happening. The babies were placed in a warming box to keep them safe while waiting for mommy to come for them. Sure enough she came for all three that night.
The biggest highlight for us was to see that they genuinely cared about the little racoon family

Darryl and his team recently helped us deal with a momma raccoon who had gotten into our attic to have her babies. Their service was quick and efficient with positive results. They were knowledgeable, professional and informative in assessing the current raccoon issue and pointing out potential future problems spots on the house exterior as access points for unwanted visitors. Even though wildlife can be unpredictable, in our case, it was a textbook extraction – exactly as Darryl described. Give these guys a call if you have any sort of wildlife issues at your home or business.
