If it was possible I would give – stars. Yesterday I was trying to be healthy and stopped at this Spar to buy vegetables and fruits for my stay in Bergville. It was a cold morning and a extremely rainy and cold morning drive to Bergville so it was not a temperature issue.
All the 4 nectarines I bought are in the trash. The Avos I bought are in the trash because they were so off it wasn’t even funny. I bought a sock of grapefruit and once the cashier rang it up I saw one was rotten, I asked her to remove the grapefruit but she opted to have the produce supervisor exchange the one. I should have know that would not help. When I opened one it was hard in one section and so dry. I just threw the entire thing in the trash out of frustration. The lemons I bought had brown in them, they too are in the trash.
Spar is usually know for freshness but this one has really missed the mark. I had to eat lettuce with avocado oil only because I am traveling for work and have a limited allowance. I was so upset and starving.
Great shopping location, the cashier could have been friendlier when I asked for pensioners discount for my mother who’s in a wheelchair and not stare me down like I’m some foreign enemy…. Literally the only male cashier, definitely not going to his till in the future.

Ladysmith Mica, I don’t usually go to hardware shops but I urgently needed door locks and the service I received was great! There were almost 3 employees who offered to help me in my whole 15 minutes of being there. For me, you can have the best quality and cheapest prices, but without excellent customer service, all the good goes to waste, luckily Ladysmith Mica has their ducks in a row. There is a colored old lady she simply lacks customer service I have been to the shop alot of times but no she doesn’t service with a smile at all its like u are bothering her when you ask for assistance.
One other thing i love about Ladysmith Mica The Square Shop is their operating hours. They close a bit late to accommodate working class. And the service is quite good.

Most staff members are very unprofessional. Went there yesterday with my daughter for a keyboard and mouse. Asked a lady standing doing nothing at a till for the mouse pad price she sent us to the other side for that without explanation. We decided to leave it.
Went to the main tills to pay, there were a group of women at the jewellery/cigarettes counter with Game uniform making noise and performance. We paid with a lady who was not part of the commotion.
When we left this 1 woman from the group literally jumped in front of our way blocking us and making silly remarks. We had to walk on her sides to get through. That’s unpleasant shopping.
I bought an exercise bike December 2021 and i found out after assembling that a screw on the left pedal had a fault it was bigger. I took the bike back and the guy(i forgot his name) accused me damaging the screw by forcing it. Luckily his manager helped me and they fixed the bike however i don’t know whether the bike was fixed or they gave me a new one. i took the bike home and i found out after one exercise that the right pedal is too loose, the screw cannot hold the pedal anymore.
Please if you want any exercise equipment i do not encourage you to buy at this store go somewhere else where they will value and respect you.

Don’t ever take a account with Game. Monthly payments were a nightmare! The App never worked and keeps closing unexpectedly. Asking for service in-store even worse. 1 person only who can help you and then she is on lunch. Then system is off line. Then phones not working. Have to go back and forth continuously.
Just bad service overall.

Granny or whatever her name is. The security guard at Game Tzaneen has a stinking attitude. She wanted me to put my handbag, with my wallet and my phone by the parcel counter. My bag which also had my baby’s essentials, my baby who I was carrying on the day. She needs to be taught of proper customer service. I would have called the manager, I just didn’t have time to be doing ups and downs with that lady with a stinking attitude. She is very rude.
Is a wide clean store with affordable products. Their package on shelves is easy to understand, there are true prices. Their products are of high quality. The delivery is also reasonable. I love the fact that they have everything from beauty products to furniture. It’s amazing
I was treated like a criminal for pushing an empty game trolley, and for this I think I’ll only go to this game if it is the last store open

I was really annoyed by the fake advertising that Game has for the headphones items in the box by the entrance. How is that they put R179 for headphones that turn out to be R299? When I complained to the so-called floor manager, a Mr. Pule Motaung, he was defensive and arrogant? Come on, is this the mighty Game brand engaging in deceptive advertising? Two things are wrong here: 1. Bad advertising 2. Bad customer service. Please do something about this.
I went to Game to buy a microwave. Nobody to help me. I asked for assistance but after 20minutes I had to ask again. One person was at the computer and the lady sitting next to him (also a worker at Game) was talking to him all the time and on her phone the rest of the time. They kind of ignore me to finish their conversation!!! After another 15 minutes I asked again for assistance! If I can help it, I would never go to Game Bethlehem again!
One store where staff always assist customers, they make follow ups when you had left your contact details regarding queries or products that are yet to come. The service is just outstanding I wish they were selling fast food. I also like the weekly specials which are affordable and reasonable at all times.

I wish Piet can change his attitude towards customers, you can’t take-out deliveries knowing that you can’t find the owner. My delivery was signed by my neighbor because I was still waiting for the call due to network that caused by loadshadding they couldn’t get hold of me and I requested that before they make delivery they must call me, what if I lost my building material who was going to pay? We don’t live in an apartheid area, we live in a new South Africa.
