We stopped for a coffee and snack whilst travellers to our holiday. All the staff were excellent and there was a great range of plants to choose from. Coffee and food were great especially the homemade scotch egg! Only deducted a star as food was quite pricey for what it was… However this is often the case with places like this an would still return when driving past again!
Lovely family run garden centr.. Have been and bought from there a few times. Prices very competitive. Even so have recomended where i work to buy a bench which was excilent quality..
Plant also to high standard and coffee shop is really nice that we been a couple of times. As a local centrci wish them very best .
We only went in their cafe & that was lovely. I did have a small look around & they seem to have some interesting stuff there. Also, they sell creasote (not sure if that’s how to spell it) the dark brown stinky stuff people used to paint their fence posts & stuff with. I didn’t think anywhere sold that anymore

Popped in to pick up some bits and pieces for a long planned DIY project at home. I had a few questions/queries and was helped out by one of your staff named Gavin Morgan, who really couldn’t help me enough. He was the only staff member I dealt with, but can only hope that the other staff are only half as helpful, polite, patient and respectful as Gavin was today. He really is a credit to the Company. Brilliant service and great staff! Thanks to Gavin and Jamie for sorting out a minor issue with a refund which they dealt with very quickly and efficiently. They were also extremely helpful and knowledgeable recommending other products I enquired about. Good offers and promotions in store which they highlighted. First visit to this branch and will he using again now I know where it is.
The staff here were amazing this morning. Quick service, very friendly staff and even helped me to the car with my item.
As someone who is disabled I was very worried about putting a heavy item into my car on my own (delivery was unavailable) they eased my concerns within seconds of entering the shop.
Really impressed, never bought from here before but I’ll definitely be back again.

I was served today by a lovely young lady at approximately 4pm. I didn’t catch her name but it was a pleasure to go into a business and be treated properly. Nothing was to much trouble, she even found alternatives when my first choice was out of stock. The lady was young, long light blonde hair and a welcoming smile. Thank you.

A good store with a terrible store manager.
This store is very good all the store assistants and lead sales are great but the current store manager is horrible person who has no care and consideration for anyone else and are treated like slaves. If any of the staff speak up they are heavily punished either by getting transferred to another store or worse, fired. This place has now got a horrible vibe to it because the staff are so fed up of the treatment they get. However the prices are very good at this store and the main workforce apart from the manager who has a superiority complex are genuinely lovely people and I would give it more stars if they had better leadership.
Worst experience I’ve had. Went in to get some cleaning products and travel sewing kit. The lady at the checkout asked me for my ID before I could pay. I was confused as to why she would need my ID, as I look old enough to be using a sewing kit that included a small scissor. But of course why she wanted my ID was because I was wearing a head covering and looked Asian.
I’ve done shopping in many stores and bought a scissor and kitchen knife, but I’ve never been asked for my ID. I never thought I would be discriminated by Home Bargains staff. Very disappointing.
The security guard wouldn’t allow me to put rubbish in the bin. He said it was commercial waste, but it was packaging of products which I had purchased from home bargains and home sense. Surley I should be allowed to put the rubbish in one of the many empty bins outside. I left and finished my shopping in B&M.

Latest update today 31Jul24, original delivery date was scheduled for 12Jul, on 22Jul delivery was revised to 25Jul, on 24Jul delivery was revised to 02Aug, today 31Jul delivery was rescheduled again to 06Aug, I am not interested in the strategic misrepresentations I have been given, all I want is for Wickes to timely deliver the products I have paid for. Part of Wicke’s “Corporate speil” states the following: “Responsible Business We are building a business we are proud of, …. We believe we have an important role to play in society, from the products we sell, to the stores we run and the infrastructure we use to service our customers”. – Bought some Sliding Wardrobe Doors from Wickes on 06Jul24, they were supposed to be delivered on 12Jul24 by Kinetic Logistics but the delivery van turned up without the Doors on the van!!! How is this possible in this day and age….. Having to waste my time chasing things up… Not impressed
An absolutely useless store, paid for click and collect with a discount on quantity, cancelled part of my order but received little refund because they then reversed the deal as I no longer qualified, cancelled because they didn’t have them in stock. Went into store and found the items myself, but wouldn’t honour the price and wanted nearly twice as much as they refunded me for same items because there manager obviously couldn’t be bothered to look for my order properly
Some staff lovely but dealt with two in particular who were incredibly rude and unhelpful – extremely patronising and condescending and refused to actually assist me. And yet when my dad went and asked for the exact same thing he was assisted with issues. Sure it’s nothing to do with me being a woman and him being a man!

Recently visited to purchase paint. Was served at the till by a rather large but extremely rude male member of staff. He literally said nothing during the transaction !. He has served me before, has been similarly rude and off hand & needs some serious customer service training. Not a great advert for front of house staff. I am giving this 1* rating as a result of my latest visit but as a regular visitor I find most of the staff helpful especially the American chap who is THE most helpful and polite member of staff. The big fella could learn on a lot from the American chap who certainly knows how to interact with the public and takes customer service to the next level. He is definitely a 5* person.
A massive Thankyou to the lady in the bathroom department who could see I’m in a wheel chair and couldn’t do enough for me, I was extremely grateful, seeing as you couldn’t do enough to help me, even taking me out to my car and helping me into it, Thankyou ever so much Leigh, incredible lad, didn’t see me as having a disability but as a normal person, il never forget that Thankyou ever so much
Called in today for a washing machine water pipe. Walked the store twice. Finally asked an assistant with a reply NO we don’t do them. Just checked online and they have 10 in stock. Have to say that this store has one of the worst customer service going. Staff really need to go on a training course. This is not the first time for poor quality of service.

Absolutely pathetic..!!
Got to the store & realised id forgotten my phone with order number, email ect.
Told couldnt have my items without order number.
Lots of others stores just take details name, address ect & accept that.
I wasnt getting powertools – just planks of wood. I do not make a habit of going around stores on a Sunday morning pretending to be other people & just claiming items that aren’t mine.
She said order number only.
We drove half hour home, & lucky an auntie was shopping nearby, so i sent her the details & she went into store – only to be told screenshots are not acceptable. How pathetic – where do you think she got them from.?
Not really worth fraud over a few planks if wood.
I will be now cancelling my order & going elsewhere.
I was also going to order PS200 worth of worktops – but think ill go elsewhere now.
Regimental jobsworths – & head office need to check themselves & get with other stores.
Went to b&q Llanelli on Friday 11th Dec 2020 evening to buy a complete new kitchen and take it home with us and I can honestly say the members of staff we had engaged with were amazing and went above and beyond for us from helping to get all 80 items to paying for them and loading them into the van. Fantastic service and friendly staff thanks Yvonne and gareth
We’ve recently got a kitchen from b&q, we were helped by Kathleen, she was fantastic and really helped us get the kitchen we wanted and too our budget, Michelle was brilliant and answered all of our questions, the ladies were lovely with my son and gave him colours and even offered him a drink. Top class service, thank you girls!

Lovely store really big and has a very wide variety Of stock, but that’s not the reason why I’m writing this review. The reason why I’m writing this review is because of Caroline And I believe Kita but they were absolutely fantastic. Today I’ve currently got a broken arm. And they could not have helped me anymore. And reassured me that I was not taking too much time. I also had a bit of a problem with an item that I had bought where it had been opened and 9 packs of cat food had been taken out of the box of 40. I didn’t take a receipt but Kita, Caroline, and the manageress at the time. They really, really help me out. Highly recommend.
There’s also another staff member. I’d like to give credit to mainly because I keep on mistaking him for my friend, because he looks exactly like my friend. But the gentleman with tattoos, the beard and the shaved Back and sides is always really nice and Doesn’t get annoyed, that I’ve mistaken him for someone else (again)
Good store selling a range of products at a reasonable price. Sells everything from food, household furniture/ furnishings, DIY to pet food. Only let down is the lack of basic DIY tools such as filler knifes despite selling wall filler as well as wall paper scrapers. Bit of a oversight there.
Visited your fforestfach store and was served by a wonderful sales assistant. She was so kind and helpful. She was so attentive towards my grandchildren to.She made my visit a great experience and will definitely visit again soon. Her name was Danielle

Good selection of products and plants.
Coffee shop has lovely snacks and drinks for a quick bite. Haven’t tried the food such as Fish and Chips yet.
Great to grab indoor and outdoor plants.
Have bought lots of vegetable/fruit plants and a range of flowering plants which have all flourished well with care.
Lots of decor items that are lovely too.
Lost a star because the prices tend to be higher than usual market prices for a lot of items.
Staff is usually friendly and helpful.
There is also a Maidenhead fish store inside which has a range of Freshwater, Marine and Pond species and their products. The store has improved the health of the fish they sell since I visited a few years ago which is good and they have a nice selection of tropical fish you can’t get in other local fish stores.
Would recommend getting the Dobbies card if you want to buy regularly as it’ll help bring prices to more average prices and get you 2 free drinks a month. Or just use it to get the free trial and cancel if you don’t plan on going again.
Popped in the restaurant today with friends after looking around the centre, ordered fish and chips, lasagna the fish was absolutely lovely could tell it was cooked fresh lovely, Friend had the lasagna and tha t was lovely too, really nice place to dine,went here today to try the Sunday roast, was absolutely lovely, I love the gravy it was delicious fresh vegetables meat tender lovely roast potatoes crispy but fluffy in the middle and as I said a lovely gravy made with the meat juices. Lovely roast and served quickly and hot. Definitely recommend the Sunday roast.
We hired out the Dobbies soft play area in early March for my 2 year old daughter’s birthday party. It was the perfect area to use for a birthday party. We had 17 children and their parents there and there was more than enough room. Dobbies staff were very helpful and the manager Conner was very accommodating. Was the perfect place for a children’s party. Food was great for the children and it all came at a reasonable price – PS9.95 per child aged 2-8 years old. Was great to have exclusive hire of the soft play area! Definitely recommend!

GROOMING SECTION NOT THE ACTUAL STORE ITSELF. Had Very very bad customer service in the Grooming Section. Had an appointment 415 went in on time was told they had to take my GSP in the back with 2 other dogs n not let me stay with him.(As he’s nervous around strangers) When I asked how long will it take for me to come back only to receive ATTITUDE from HANNAH THIS HORRIBLE PERSON THE WORST IVE EVER MET SHOUTED WHEN IM FINISHED WITH THIS DOG WHILE LOOKING AT HER MATES GRINNING. I SAID I DIDN’T ASK WHEN RU DONE I ASKED WHAT TIME SHALL I CALL BACK TO BE TOLD I WONT DO HIS NAILS THEN. MY POOR BOY STRESSES ABOUT HIS NAILS N TO TAKE HIM IN THE CAR TO HAVE BAD ATTITUDE FROM HANNAH THE NAIL CUTTER DOG BRUSHER IS SO PATHETIC. I’VE REPORTED HER TO THE MANAGER. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS HANNAH YOU KNOW WHO U R U NEED TO BE SACKED.
