Last treatment only lasted a week and a half so i contacted the company to let them know that the mosquitoes have taken over our property and that we can’t do anything outside without being bitten all over if we don’t put Mosquito repellent, and even then they still bite us. Really dissatisfied with the company
I waited to write this review until after a full season of having our property sprayed for ticks. I live in Lunenburg County Nova Scotia and we are notorious for ticks in this area. I cannot believe how effectively this service worked for us. We have two dogs and a large property, and prior to this service not a day would go by without finding ticks on us & the dogs. This year we encountered ZERO ticks, (unless we left our property).
10/10 recommend this service. It’s worth every penny and we will be renewing for the next season!

Edit: it works for the day but not the evening. Not sure why, but it doesn’t work at night on our decks.
We requested a re-spray, which they accommodated, but the next evening- mosquitoes. Disappointed. We had a different company in Ontario, which worked much better.
We will request another re-spray and update our comments.
Update: they came and resprayed, so far, it is working 🙂

Momma Racoon and 3 babies got into my 1 story kitchen attic. 1 Rep from NS and 1 from NB arrived. They got the 2 or 3 day old babies but Mom hid and they told me she left. After about 6 hours she was still there and started to rip the place apart and I called them again and then opened up a place for her to go and she finally left (so did I!). I took the babies to the NS DNR and they put them down as Hope For Wildlife refused to take them. End result, I signed up for the removal and a 1 year contract where they would come 4 times in that year and come when/if I called. The guy from NB was the one to come and to the service and all he did was complain about the New Guy from NS. They broke the drywall in my ceiling and said nothing.. the NB guy used foul language and said nasty things about his co-worker and he never, ever came back. 3 months later I was coming home and the NB Rent To Kill guy drove past my house and I stopped him and asked him if he went into the house…He said no and drove away and never came back. (I have cameras everywhere) I will never recommend these people. I got rid of the racoon and they got $1000.00. I had forgotten about this NEGATIVE experience until Rent To Kill called to renew the yearly contract. If you double it, you are more than welcome to come visit and see the mess that was made but these people.
We had a wasp problem–the nest was just outside our kitchen window.
When they came, they sprayed their insect foam at our OPEN window, some of which went inside our house. Both my wife and I were home at the time and we didn’t know it was happening. Obviously, as we don’t want poison to be sprayed into our home, we would have appreciated a knock on the door so we could close the window first! When I called, I spoke to 2 people about this, neither of whom apologized for the negligence. Somebody there even told me that whatever chemical they used to kill a nest of wasps was perfectly safe to spray inside the house! I discourage others from using this company’s services.
The most friendly and helpful pest guys around!! I was fortunate enough to deal with Danny, and I could not have asked for a more caring and helpful individual! He went above and beyond what I could have ever asked for and if I ever need help again I would definitely ask for him! Nobody likes to have a pest problem, it can be scary and overwhelming! With the help of Danny I was put at ease and learned a tun of info in the process! Good luck!

Exactly as advertised. He came in for a bat in my Tennant’s apartment, captured it quickly and efficiently and was going to take it out of the city, check it to make sure it was healthy and then release. Fast and easy.
I had him come out to remove some bird’s and there nest from a vent. Made it very quick and easy. Would highly recommend.
Mike was very knowledgeable and was able to help relocate porcupines that we had at our house. Thank you!

We are very impressed with Truly Nolen’s service. We had a major issue with carpenter ants which basically had eaten up our entire beam in one building. Eric showed up the same day and we got an excellent educational overview of all the step-wise strategies to tackle ants and do preventive work. Eric was extremely knowledgable; we learned a lot about ants and their behaviour which helped us to calm down. We found an individualized approach to our problem. We can certainly recommend this company.
My combined garage/accommodation was being invaded by carpenter ants and home treatments weren’t working. Nolan’s did a thorough job treating the inside and outside and explained clearly what they were doing. They are conscious of safety and environmental concerns. The treatment was effective almost immediately. When I needed follow up care over two months later they responded very quickly and addressed the issues immediately and effectively. Highly recommended!
My first encounter with the technician was a bit iffy. After that The staff (including the office staff)were professional, helpful and courteous. The new technician was knowledgable and answered my questions thoroughly. Thank you

They came in for bedbugs and said they didn’t see any signs of them. My couch was crawling, bugs were all over the floor, and their dirt very apparent on the baseboards.
They looked in every apartment and had the audacity to say there were no signs of bugs – people have been tossing their belongings for WEEKS. They said if they don’t see bugs they don’t spray and they won’t do the entire building even as a preventative.
Everything was done exactly right for the bugs to stay and fester
Been sprayed by them 9 times over the past 2 years. At what point do you realize the chemicals you are sparying DONT WORK
