Called Pest Control Services about small holes appearing by my house boundary (assumed rat or mice). Jim was very quick to respond and did a check same day. He confirmed a rat problem (encouraged by a utility company not blocking up a hole from pipe work) and I got a very comprehensive breakdown of his approach to the job (from Ian). Jim was diligent, constantly monitored his traps (caught a v large rat) and when he was happy blocked up the hole and put a bait box down (he will continued to monitor until he is happy the hole is not compromised). I would not hesitate to recommend CPC. They are v professional, pleasant to deal with.
Professional and friendly. Turned up on time and were thorough in inspection. Treated inside house and in garden, made promised repeat visits to check/replace bait and remove dead rodent. Still ongoing outside as the rodents are taking time to completely eradicate. I would recommend this firm and use them again in future.
Really professional and friendly, did a thorough job and eradicated the mouse problem. Turned up on time and fulfilled all the jobs he had promisied in the contract that including return visit when we had a new boiler fitted which had created new holes for mice which they promptly covered over.

Apologies it took so long to write a review but I just have to say amazing! Both to EWA for being so helpful at first contact and during the treatment process and to ALBERT who carried out my treatments, he knows his stuff and was soo calm when I was soo manic and stressed. He went above and beyond and did a thorough treatment compared to one given to me by the council. Both Ewa and Albert answered any questions I had even if I called 10x a day freaking out. I really feel I owe them for what they have done for me even though it’s a what they do for a living. Again they were just amazing and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much from Hayley.
Put simply, these guys are great.
We moved into a new house and discovered that the previous owners had a cat. They left us behind a few hundred visitors in the form of fleas.
ED pest control came in and treated, but our infestation was so deep routed that it required multiple treatments. The amount of times the guys came back, the experts they consulted on our behalf, the service that they gave us in what was a horrid time help us get through it. Thank you.

I recently had Nomi visit my house to locate any holes that may have been allowing pests to enter. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. Nomi was able to quickly identify all potential entry points, leaving me feeling much more secure in my home.

I have no words to thank this guys for the amazing Job they did here. We have just move in this house and we had this crazy smell. These guys cane in to access the situation came with plan and they work in a great manner and we were out when we came back everything was back in place and all organised and the dead rat gone. Called GoPest out to my home to help with mice I’d seen the night before and I have to say it was a complete waste of time and money! There was no communication between the team and it took me days of constantly calling to get my e-receipt amd invoice. The work was sub-par and they never actually fixed the problem due to a poor initial inspection. I even had to call a separate company out a couple weeks after their final visit because they didn’t check the premises properly for the mice’s entry point. Regret using this company and not worth the PS230+resources. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Not worth de 220 pounds plus VAT. While they came 24h after I saw a mouse in my home, they were cordial and professional and suggested some entry points, the only thing they did is put some poison and came once more to see if the poison was gone. It wasn’t, so it was just an “odd mouse”. They don’t actually close the entry points, this is billed sepertaly and cost similar to the initial payment. Too expensive for what it is, and not worth the money in my opinion.
Communication was not up to scratch and didn’t turn up at time agreed, with no initiative to let us know they were running late/held up. When eventually they turned up and addressed our wasp problem, the spray didn’t do the trick and they kept ignoring us when we tried to get back in touch. We had to go with a different pest company in the end and pay twice the price – would not recommend these guys.

TL’DR. They’re Self-deluded, Egotistical Narcs. You can do a LOT better.
Excellent first impression. Called me back to give me their undivided attention.
All downhill from there. I found them to be more condescending and easily triggered each subsequent call.
No sympathy for my emergency. Guilt-tripped me for trying 5-star Amazon remedies, and for contacting higher google ranked competitors first.
Claimed to be the only living experts, and that all treatments and competitors (including all of North America) fail because ‘they’re all are wrong and uneducated’.
I asked them to explain their controversial marketing hype, just as ASA and Trading Standards encouraged me to do so.
They got offended, gaslit me for asking, called me ‘too energy draining’, then denied their services to me.
David’s exact words: “I’m going to stop you right there, you obviously don’t trust us, don’t use us [cuts call]”.
Until now, I was none-the-wiser, manipulated to feel at fault for everything. So I called to apologise and appeal. But you only get one chance with these nutcases. So because I didn’t blindly trust their absurd claims, they banned me for life.
At this point I could have hung up, but I wanted to see if they had even a single shred of decency or remorse in them.
I expressed my desperation: “fine, then what would you do if the only bedbug experts in the world won’t help you?”. David had the audacity to respond: ‘I know how you feel… there is ONLY one other specialist, in Italy, but even he will not help you after I speak with him’.
Surprisingly, he tried to explain himself and earn back my empathy by telling me he’d been stalked and sued before.
He really had no idea that the more he spoke, the more egotistical and deluded he appeared.
During my emergency, I called about 40 competitors. Most welcomed me, some answered with sensible logic, some even encouraged me for asking.
At least 3 respectable competitors said that nobody respects David Cain, as his ego and delusions tarnish the brand.
I concur. A very confused David decided to accuse me of not really wanting to do business, but also accused me of planning to bribe him in to do business in future.
I know 2 definitions of the word Narc; narcissist and drug police. David is clearly the former, but he’s deluded himself that he’s also the latter.
After bed-bugs Ltd got out of my way, I found better fumigators.
Initially, one liquidated after the first treatment, so the bugs multiplied again over Xmas.
3 months later, I finally found my go-to fumigator.
He spent the first hour de-indoctrinating me from David’s delusions. Second hour, happily listing and tailoring his extensive treatment choices to my special needs.
He solved my crisis in 2 visits, 30 days apart.
Bugs never returned.
Clearly, David and his Italian lackey aren’t the only living bedbug experts.
But like other cult leaders, they are experts in fearmongering, disempowering benevolent people until they feel unimportant, gaslit to the point they second-guess their own innocence and good nature.
BTW, I tried their patented bed bug monitor device. Competitors explained that the only reason it could work is because bedbugs are drawn to the smell of the ordinary cardboard it contains. The detection isn’t even confirmed until you buy their upsell ‘return to diagnose at lab’ service.
Maybe if these chaps were sensible and trustworthy, this service might be slightly useful. But after all of their hype and break-up drama, I asked David if he would at least ‘let me’ buy their bug monitors. He said, “sure, but we won’t answer any of your support questions”. Oh…so that’s why he thought I’ll need to bribe him.
I dislike negative reviews, especially when it’s a one-off stain about a trivial misunderstanding on an otherwise well reviewed biz. But this one was well-earned.
No idea why they have any good reviews. Even if leadership changed, their brand is already tarnished. So IMO, with nothing worthy to sell or discuss, the sooner they’re off google, the better.
When I woke up covered in mysterious bites night after night, I was convinced I had bed bugs. I was very stressed, itchy and ashamed. Bed Bugs Ltd’s website was very helpful in separating the facts from the fiction and understanding how bed bugs actually work. They dispatched me a monitor kit PACKED with information very quickly.
There was a lot to learn and take in but the website and booklets were less overwhelming than trying to understand the contradictory information I was getting from other places. It was also reassuring to be given a very thorough explanation of bed bugs and what to do rather than a breezy overview. I am glad they told me not to hire a contract cleaner as I would have thrown money away on that.
I sent some suspected bedbugs in for the identification service and was relieved to be told that they were not in fact insects at all. This put my mind at ease. Terry then followed up with advice as to what else might be causing the bites and how to deal with it – despite it being a bed bug-specific company. The diatomaceous earth they sent me also kills pretty much all other insects, so I have not wasted my money. Following his advice on spring-cleaning the room thoroughly seems to have solved the issue.
Terry was also very helpful when I encountered non-insect issues like my card payment not working. Even though I ended up not actually having a bed bug problem, these guys were great at helping me to keep calm in a difficult time and making me feel equipped to handle the problem.
We first had Sarah into our home over a year ago when we discovered the Bed Bugs in our home She stayed late into the evening inspecting every inch of my home and alleviating my concerns and stress. Had heard horror stories from friends about bed bugs that never really leave. An acquaintance told me she’d been fighting them for years. So I was skeptical about the procedure and process. But she was right and within days I was no longer being bitten and at the end of two weeks it was clear completely.
We had Jozz come and clean our house, to ensure that the infestation was gone, but also to alleviate my fears.
I spoke with Terry on the phone consistently through the process and he was a calming and professional presence.
We have unfortunately since had a reinfestation. Again from my first moments Terry and Sarah we’re supportive and quick to get things sorted.
In particular Terry and Alex the cleaner went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and ensure I got the best service possible. They did all of this during a pandemic whilst maintaining social distancing and navigating risk to myself and themselves. There are not many people who would go as far as they did and I am so grateful.
I’m also sleeping freely in a house that is empty of bed bugs, because their method of the best. I cannot recommend them enough

Such brilliant service from Roger at Critter Solutions. We had an unwanted guest (mouse) in the house and in a state of panic, called the 1st number we found on Google – unfortunately this was NOT Critter Solutions. I won’t go into too much detail about the first company but we were left with false information, a no-show pest control technician and nearly PS400 out of pocket. Learning from our mistake, we did some research and came across Critter Solutions. Roger, after hearing our story was sympathetic and really took care of us. You only need to go online to see that you are dealing with a proper company with accredited representatives. In the nicest possible way, I wouldn’t want to need their services again, but if we ever get more unwanted guests, we know who to call!
We were trying to sort out a problem at home. We reached out to several pest control companies but ended up deciding to go with Critter Solutions as Roger appeared very knowledgeable and professional on the phone.
Roger gave us an appointment as early as it was possible and arrived at the property on time. After a quick survey he informed us that our problem doesn’t require a big job and hence recommended some very cost effective solutions.
Glad we didn’t go with with a big name firm as I’m sure we would’ve been charged for a full-on project when the situation didn’t really warrant it.
Can’t recommend Roger enough, really professional, friendly and knowledgable! We had a few wasps nest in our attic which needed treating. On the phone he explained the treatment options and cost, was very accommodating with times (to fit around our work schedules) and came round that same day. 5 years ago, when I had a mice infestation problem a friend recommended PestGone. They did an excellent job and I was completely mouse free for 5 years. When the mice came back a few months ago I called them again. It took multiple visits to get the problem solved (more than the 3 planned ones, but they will come back if the problem continues within a certain amount of time). Each time, it was easy to book them to come soon and they proceeded to find and block all the entry holes in my flat (there were many, and some were very well hidden, hence the job taking more visits.) PestGone are very reasonably priced for the excellent service that they deliver and their staff are always kind, polite and clean. I certainly recommend them.”
Had a minor mice problem and made contact. Was able to get an appointment on the same day. Service delivered was extremely professional and great advice given. After two further visits, my household feels reassured that the problem has now gone. I would highly recommend this company as they are so efficient and also carry out mouse proofing, fantastic advice along with a 3 month guarantee in case the pesky things come back.

Mark and his team were very helpful. All our questions were answered. The email sent in advance was very useful with lots of information.
