The exterior walls of my house had become rather tarnished in recent times, as had front and rear paths, a patio/yard, and other areas, so I decided to seek professional assistance, with a view to a good ‘spruce up’ of my home.
I ‘surfed’ the Internet and was immediately delighted to discover Mark’s Specialist Cleaning & Restoration Services. I checked everything out carefully, and was especially pleased to learn that Mark is prepared to travel to work in many well known areas of the South West, mine being in South Devon.
Initial contact between us was by email; Mark required some photo evidence, which enabled him to provide a cost estimate of the work to be undertaken. All was agreed, with a site visit soon arranged.
On the work day itself, I was most impressed that Mark, and his young assistant, arrived at my premises a few minutes early.
Having greeted each other, the fellows next set up their equipment. I was at home for the morning, and soon noted their adoption of a quiet, steady, knowledgeable, methodical approach to their work, all the while ensuring adherence to important Health & Safety aspects of the job. Additionally, PPE was worn, keeping in line with Government guidelines over the ongoing Coronavirus issue.
I arrived home from work later in the day, by which time, the fellows had left, having completed a superb job throughout. The results were stunning; the exterior of my property now looks cleaner and fresher than ever before, thanks to Mark and his assistant’s dedicated help, and hard work.

We needed to have our driveway cleaned and I wanted someone who would also re-sand the area afterwards and treat the black spots that were growing on the stone work. I did some research on line and was very impressed with the reviews of Mark’s cleaning business so thought I would give him a try.
I emailed him some photos of the area that I needed cleaning (driveway, side patio and back garden slate patio) and Mark very quickly responded with an acceptable quote. Once weather allowed Mark arrived and spent several days carrying out an extremely thorough cleaning job using various treatments along the way which brought about excellent results.
Whilst he was with us I also asked Mark to clean our gutters which are very high as we are. a 3 storey house and again this was not an issue and carried out brilliantly.
I also need to comment on Mark’s work ethic which is brilliant. He never stops (apart from lunch) and is very consicencious and clearly takes great pride in what he does and is very professional.
I would not hesitate to use Mark again and would highly recommend him to anyone. Good honest expert and hard working trades people are hard to find but Mark is an absolute gem.
We needed fascias, gutters and soffits cleaned as well as a much neglected Indian sandstone patio. Mark was here for an entire day and despite the patio being in quite a dire state to start with, the end results were excellent, better than I had actually dared hope. On time, great results and fairly priced, what more could you want. We are moving soon and the patio at our new house will certainly need cleaning. Will definitely be asking Mark to do this and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
