I went to visit the store le Roy Merlin situated in Darque, Viana do Castelo. I was looking for kitchen cupboards at the time and as per their rules we were to make an appointment to meet up with one of their employees. We started with meeting with someone by the name of Gilles, he went to start up the new design for our kitchen, but then he left on vacation and he was replaced by Angela, a very efficient young lady with much experience in the area, as we moved along we found out that we required assistance for our bathroom, along with purchase of lighting system as well as stove, exhaust, etc.
Le Roy Merlin, was like a second home to us, all I can say is that every time I needed anything no matter what, they have a wonderful set of employees all very professional and eager to assist you, I would like to take this opportunity to list some of these wonderful people that I believe should be recognized for the job they’re doing , they’re extremely committed to fulfilling the customer’s needs, they are Angela, Rita, Sandra, Tania, Filipa & Filipe. I would like to thank each and everyone, of them for their professionalism, I have to say that I’m very happy with the outcome of my kitchen.
I must also mention that I was also referred on several occasions to the other store across next to Sport Zone which I guess is the delivery of Le Roy Merlin, unfortunately for those employees they seemed to be a bit lost, I believe that maybe information between the two departments is not fluently being passed, this is just an observation on my part, aside from that if I was to rate my overall experience on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 10 that I would rate.

The space has a lot of free car parking spots.
It is nearby the high way.
Staff is friendly and will help you with the questions / requests.
The prices are average
A bit of everything for construction/refurbishment and the staff is always happy and willing to help.

Reasonable supermarket. However couldn’t give 5 Stars as on our last day my partner wanted a quick snack/coffee before we left for the airport. He pointed to the picture of the cheese/tomato grilled baguette. I wanted a hot chocolate drink, but give up and settled for the coffee. What he got was a baguette filled with salad/tomatoes and similar to feta cheese, definitely something you wouldn’t grill and definitely didn’t look anything G like the picture my partner pointed too. Other than that we did like the variety that the supermarket had and if this incident hadn’t happened would have given it 5 Stars.
Ver busy during summer months, specially August. You will find fresh fish fruit and veg drinks from soft drinks to liquor, port and other wines. It’s a small supermarket but with a great selection of products.
Fresh products, very well organized and friendly staff.
The small coffee shop is great for snacks.

The place looks clean and welcoming. The down side would be at the food court the major issues is flies inside the food display that can lead deases. Also the people that attend could smile a little to welcome the people this is the first continent where the food court has people that are professional handling your order but doesn’t transmit the welcoming that others continente transmite and smile or saying welcome could help. Please do something about the flies touching the food.
We can Find a Good variety of products from Bread, fruits vegetales, grocery, drinks, etc. There os also a bar with a seating area inside and outdoor tables. Good variety of Bread and pastry. Lunch is also served here, with quite good soup. Friendly service.
Nice midsize store with a wide selection of products.
But the cafe.. it looks basic, but they serve a very good espresso with a warm pastel de nata for an unbelievable price. Coming back soon for another serving!!

O valor da diaria paga apenas pelas paisagens e pelas piscinas, quarto razoavel e pequeno almoco muito fraco, sem buffet e sem opcoes de escolha, e entregue apenas uma bandeija com o que tiver a disposicao e pronto!
Cafe soluvel? Nao por favor, acredito que uma maquina de cafe nao seja tao cara assim!
As 9h da manha fomos acordados por maquinas de cortar grama, ou seja, fomos para descansar e relaxar e fomos acordado assim!
Checkin as 16h sem ter muito tempo para aproveitar as piscinas pois o sol ja e fraco a essa hora, e checkout as 11h sem conseguir aproveitar pela manha as piscinas pois o cafe e as 9h30, ou seja, para quem vai ficar apenas um dia, nao compensa pagar 115EUR
Peco que devem repensar esse horario de checkin, de cortar a grama com hospedes a dormir ainda e sugiro comprar uma maquina de cafe.
Tudo agradavel de maneira geral, correspondeu as expectativas, saimos e entramos de maneira discreta pois tudo foi feito com um comando para um portao eletrico e a chave do bungalow encontrava-se na caixa de correio a porta do mesmo , contudo, nao havia estacionamento suficiente, o estacionamento dentro do espaco e muito reduzido em relacao ao numero de bungalows e no exterior o espaco tambem nao e muito, apenas um pequeno largo e salve-se quem puder sendo que estacionar nas bermas das estradas nao e solucao sendo que sao estradas pequeninas, estreitas onde por voces passam tratores e transportes de cargas volumosos.
Espaco muito agradavel. A piscina e espetacular, com tres niveis de profundidade. O Pequeno almoco bastante bom e completo! A Funcionaria e muito simpatica e disponivel sempre para ajudar, nomeadamente para sugerir sitios a visitar, o que comer…
Contudo, fica Distante alguns km do centro de Arcos de Valdevez (pelo que tambem e distante de servicos e de restauracao) e escassez de rede nas comunicacoes sao os unicos pontos menos positivos. Tem um bar com refeicoes rapidas que da para desenrascar no periodo da tarde e noite.
