It is a good shopping center but it is a little hidden. It seems like it is in a factory area but over all, its not a bad place to shop if you are in the area.

Favorite Store. Good prices, very good products and good sales items. You can get everything in one store and if you’re looking at the prices even cheaper than in other stores. We love it and always can not wait for our weekly shopping there.
Best Brotchen in the area. Meat is also good.
And if you fancy Mozart kugeln like me this is the only place that has it. The bakery is good.
Okay place to shop although could use a facelift inside. Decent selection of food choices and drinks.

The history of Kaufland began when Joseph Schwarz entered the Sudfruchte Grosshandlung Lidl & Co. at Heilbronn as a shareholder in 1930, which was then renamed Lidl & Schwarz KG.[3] In subsequent years it was the company aimed to expand its range and become a food wholesaler.
After the Second World War, the company was rebuilt: in 1954 it entered the A & O-chain. With Handels- und Fruchthof Heilbronn GmbH the first regional warehouse was opened in northern Wurttemberg. In 1964, the company expanded its range of products by opening a meat department. In 1968 the first Handelshof discount store was opened in Backnang, and in 1977 at the same place a hypermarket of the same name was established. After the death of Joseph Schwarz in 1977 his son Dieter Schwarz took over the management of the company.
In 1984 the first Kaufland hypermarket was opened in Neckarsulm, the place of the company’s headquarters since 1972.
After the reunification of Germany the Kaufland chain expanded into the Eastern German states and opened numerous markets. The first East German Kaufland store was opened in Meissen in 1990, the first Kaufmarkt SB Warenhaus opened in 1994 in Zwickau. In 1998, the first department store outside of Germany was established in Ostrava, Czech Republic. In the 2000s, the company established branches in Slovakia (since 2000), Croatia (2001), Poland (2001), Romania (2005), Bulgaria (2006) and Moldova (2018).
In 2006 and 2007, other store openings followed in Germany and Kaufland also took over shares of competitors. In February 2009 the corporation claimed to have 73,000 employees in Germany.[4]
In December 2009, Kaufland announced the building of a new meat processing plant in Heiligenstadt, Thuringia for a total of EUR85 million until 2013. About 400 local employees were to deliver 45,000 tons of meat per year to around 600 stores of the corporation.[citation needed]
In January 2010, it was announced that Karl Lupus GmbH & Co. KG was cleared by antitrust authorities to sell their 12 stores of the famila Handels-Betriebe GmbH & Co. KG Rhein-Neckar and the Cash-&-Carry-Markt Lupus Food Service with 1,400 employees to Kaufland.[5]
In January 2010, the Kaufland group had purchased all five Schleckerland drug stores in Ehingen, Geislingen, Tempe, Neu-Ulm, Schwabisch Gmund and all but the Neu-Ulm store had been converted to the Kaufland brand by then. The local Schleckerland was closed down because Kaufland was already present in Neu-Ulm.[6]
From 2011 onward, all Handelshof stores were to be gradually be converted to the Kaufland brand and to be partly rebuilt and enlarged.
In November 2016, Kaufland’s parent company applied for Kaufland trademarks in Australia.[7] In September 2019, Kaufland announced plans to open 20 stores in Australia.[8] In January 2020, Kaufland announced it would leave Australia, two years after buying its first store and six months after starting work on its distribution centre. It had invested about 310 million euro and hired over 200 staff members but never opened a store.[9] The first stores were originally expected to open in 2019 but the launch date had been pushed back to 2021.[10]
On 26 September 2019, the first two Moldovan stores were opened in the capital city of Chisinau.[11] Construction of the third Moldovan store have started on 23 July 2020, in the southern city of Comrat.[12]
Most of the time I’m very happy with kaufland, but unfortunately lately I have the feeling if you don’t go there on the Monday morning at First, you won’t get any of the discount product what they advertise….otherwise I still recommend this place, you can get anything you need at home
I like that they have big selection. I cab find many stuff I don’t find elsewhere.
I just don’t like that regularly there is a waiting line at the cashier.

Schone Gartnerei (grosse Auswahl an Pflanzen fur aussen und innen, Setzlingen, Accessoires, und vieles mehr) mit der Moglichkeit sich noch ein Eis auf die Hand mitzunehmen, ein Stuck Torte mit Kaffee oder auch ein ausgedehntes Fruhstuck mit Freunden oder Familie zu geniessen (besonders ist das italienische Fruhstuck fur zwei Personen hervorzuheben – regionale, frische Produkte und Preis-Leistung passt!) . Wir haben lange auf das Cafe gehofft und gewartet und es ist wirklich wunderschon geworden! Das Personal ist immer freundlich und die Seniorchefin steht manchmal noch selbst an der Kasse und bedient die Kundschaft. Frankischer Familienbetrieb – Top.

Als wirklich treue Kundin kenne ich die Gartnerei seit vielen Jahren. Ich bin mehr als begeistert von den Produkten. Egal was ich mir gekauft habe, die Qualitat war immer einwandfrei. Hier wird echt wert darauf gelegt, dass nur top Artikel angeboten werden. Das personal ist freundlich, mehr als hilfsbereit und berat jederzeit gerne. Fur Fragen stehen die Mitarbeitenden mir jedes Mal zur Seite. Das Sortiment ist immer wieder uberragend.

Update: Inzwischen gibt es auch ein Cafe kurz vor der Kasse, Auswahl an Gerichten sah sehr gut aus, ebenfalls recht hoher Andrang, leider war keine Zeit selber auszuprobieren

wollte fur meinen Case einen Kabinenturgummi bestellen, wurde von einen alteren Verkaufer blod angemacht ich sollte doch zu Case gehen, hatte ein Muster dabei, hat ihn aber nicht interessiert. Sie wurden das nur komplett bestellen. und nicht einzeln.
Nur komisch in Bamberg wurde ich gut beraten und der Gummi auch bestellt.
Warum geht das in Bamberg und in Forchheim nicht.

Sehr unhofliches Personal, Preise wie in einer Apotheke. Auf Grund dieser Erfahrung haben wir uns anderweitig umgesehen u sind eines besseren belehrt worden. Meine Eltern wurden angeschnauzt was sie jetzt hier wollen sie haben schliesslich gleich Pause!!! Auch Stellen fur ein Praktikum dort sind nicht zu empfehlen!
Samoobslugowa stacja paliw sprawia pozytywne wrazenie. Mimo ze teoretycznie nie obsluguje kart E100, udalo sie zatankowac. Troche malo miejsca na manewry ciezarowka ale nie jest zle. Do tego kilka miejsc parkingowych dla PKW i LKW. Brakuje tylko toalety…

Mein Umzug nach Forchheim brachte mich an die Grenzen meines verfugbaren Platzes.
Fur mich war “Lagermeister” mit Martin Bischof die Losung. Es ist mitten in der Stadt, man hat jeden Tag von 6 – 22 Uhr Zugang, Ein- und ausladen direkt vor der Tur. Leiter , Plattenwagen … stehen kostenlos in den Gangen. Alles ist total sauber und trocken und sicher ( Videouberwacht). Hat man sich in der Grosse verschatzt, bekommt auch schnell einen kleineren bzw. grosseren Raum vermietet. Schlussel vergessen ? Gibt es nicht. Jeder hat seinen personlichen Zugangs-Code ( den man selber wahlen kann). Zum Schluss noch: Der Chef ist immer freundlich, kompetent und wirklich hilfsbereit und die Preise moderat.

Ich kann Lagermeister in Forchheim nur empfehlen. Vom ersten Kontakt bis hin zur Kundigung meines Lagerplatzes- alles top gelaufen. ich wurde bei Bedarf jederzeit wieder bei Lagermeister Forchheim extra Stauraum mieten. Vielen Dank noch mal und das sehr freundliche Team!
Ich war zwar nur Helfer, hatte also mit der Organisation nichts zu tun. Aber beim Reintragen und Einraumen war der Chef da und hat einen sehr sympathischen Eindruck gemacht. Die Anlage selber macht einen sehr guten Eindruck, sauber und ordentlich.

Mehr Kundenfreundlichkeit konnte nicht schaden. Habe meinen Stihl Akkumaher zum KD abgeben. Telefonisch wurde ein Preis von 46EUR genannt. Jetzt sind es plotzlich 69EUR. Darauf angesprochen meinte Fr. Post nur, ich konne den Maher gerne wieder mitnehmen.
Toll, wenn eine Firma solch ein Kundenverstandnis hat.
Super Beratung, man kummert sich. Und die Auftragsabwicklung sehr gut und wenn was ist wird man angerufen.
