We called Bentley Environmental Services having gotten a less than speedy timeframe from the council and we’re so glad we did. I had used a spray foam as it meant I could try from a distance. There was no way I was going into the attic! George was able to come out to us the very same day to deal with a wasp issue in our attic. Our 13month daughter had been stung twice in the space of 24hours. The nest was sorted from inside the attic and outside the house so we’re very confident they will be eradicated. Very professional and very friendly. Would highly recommend
We cannot recommend George highly enough. He was extremely professional, easy to reach and made us feel very comfortable and confident in his ability. George kept us up to date regularly and talked through all options frequently.
George went above and beyond and talked us through everything he was doing. He was very fair with his costs and didn’t do anything without the okay first.

Phoned up about a problem with bees in the roof. Very friendly. They gave advice over the phone about the type of bee. Stated that it’s a tree bumblebee which would be gone in a few weeks and to just seal the roof after they’ve left. Thankyou
Came to sort out a wasp problem in the apartment block we live in and also keeping on top of the rats. Not that we have any! Maybe that’s him. All together very good service and will visit in the evening after our work.

I used this company for bee’s nest advice.
I called this company to enquire about the removal of some bees. Their knowledge was quite incredible- helping me identify the bees and explain that they weren’t harmful and would leave on their own accord in about a month. As they are not causing us any issues we have decided to leave them alone.
Cedar Pest were brilliant. Can I give 6*?

We’ve just used Craig’s services for a small Mice issue at our property. I had initially found another company online who quoted an extortionate amount but managed to come across Craig and after reading reviews and calling was delighted that he was able to book us in so quickly. Craig offers very reasonable prices and an exceptional service- he is also a lovely gentleman! Delighted to say our Mice have now departed and while I hope we don’t need Craig again he would , without a doubt, be the first person we call!
Craig is super professional and I have no hesitation in recommending him.
I was really anxious when found rats under our shed, but Craig turned up quickly, assessed the situation and was super reassuring. He also helped rat proofing the shed which is a big relief. Thank you Craig (and Monty)

Excellent service. We had a reoccurring problem with rats in the attic – Latham Pest Control were the only company to finally resolve the problem. They worked out how the rats were getting in, successfully got rid of them and advised on preventing their return. I am pleased to say that 18 months later – still no more rats!! Issue with rodents in loft. Latham Pest Control came out same day. Took a long time to resolve problem of where they were entering, but Latham Pest Control didn’t give up and provided a fantastic service, offering to support the drain inspection and returning regularly instead of just the amount of visits originally planned. Cannot recommend them enough, excellent customer service and commitment to resolve the problem.
Chris was amazing at sorting our problem. He undertook a survey, completed treatment and followed up twice to ensure all was good. He was professional, efficient and genuinely cared to help resolve the problem. I would recommend Chris at Latham Pest Control for any issues as he is someone you can trust and rely on. I haven’t posted a Google review before but the service we have received from Adam and Jerry at Wessex Pest control has been exceptional and I have no hesitation in highly recommending them. The communication, swift action, expertise..and understanding has seen us through a very difficult time with ‘unwanted visitors’ after a failed diy attempt to rid ourselves of the problem. From the outset we felt in very safe hands and had great confidence they would solve the problem. Very happy!
I had a wasp nest about 3 weeks ago. I was on compassionate leave, and forgot to write a fabulous review of the guy who did a 10 out of 10 job of getting rid of my nest.( He had a bad eye and I forgot it name ) He was so enthusiastic on a scorching hot day. I can’t recommended Mike & Abbotstone Pest Control highly enough.
We initially wasted 2 months working through multiple pest control businesses who would do a bad job and just disappear. We were losing all faith in the industry when we were referred to Abbotstone Pest Control by someone who had a similar experience.
From Mike’s first visit it was clear that we had found someone who would solve our problems. Mike is incredibly thorough, he comes with years of experience and know-how but doesn’t assume every case is the same and invests hours assessing the problem and looking for the root cause rather than a quick fix.
We knew our problem wasn’t ever going to be an overnight fix but once we found Abbotstone Pest Control and had Mike working with us, we always had confidence that it would be rectified and we were always thankful for methodical and transparent approach. Each visit was action-orientated and when we needed to bring in other contractors for drainage work Mike worked closely with them to ensure alignment.
In situations which are obviously stressful and upsetting to have around your home, Mike is very reassuring and empathetic and works through the problem with you – providing you with a clear explanation of where the problem is coming from and how to fix it permanently.
If you’re unfortunate enough to require a pest controller, that least you’re fortunate enough to be reading Abbotstone Pest Control’s reviews and have found the right place to rectify your issues.
I received no initial response to my email enquiry so I followed up with call. I was told that email was not working (which I understand can’t be helped) so I arranged a visit for the Monday or Tuesday on the phone. Owner was going to text me confirmation on the Friday which it would be. Heard nothing, so I gave the benefit of the doubt again and called on Monday. Told by owner he would confirm later on Monday a time to visit on the Tuesday. I never heard anything for the remainder of the week so organised with another business.
Mike provided an excellent and friendly service. He was able to book in to see us next day, was very thorough and sorted out the problem in two quick visits. He took a lot of time to fully make sure the problem was resolved and explained everything so we felt confident in the service he provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Abbotstone to anyone.

We discovered a bumblebee nest, whilst digging up our patio.
We just wanted to save them – definitely not kill them.
Charlie was nothing less than outstanding with the service he provided.
Firstly, I sent him a picture & he confirmed they were bumblebees & reassured me, that his job was to save them by relocating them.
A prompt appointment was made & Charlie rang, prior to appointment, to say he was on his way.
As we had an empty nest box in our garden, Charlie recommended transferring the bees to that.
This he successfully did, however, it ended up being a large nest of eggs & the box, very quickly became full.
So Charlie left the box on top of the original nest, while I went in search of a bigger box for them. Charlie very kindly said he would return later in the day.
This he did – completing a successful rehoming of the bumblebees, with them remaining in our garden, but safely in a box, on the fence.
We were so pleased.
Can’t thank Charlie enough. His customer service was excellent – very few people would have returned for a second visit & not hyped the price!

I dont leave many reviews but I had to leave one for Charlie at RS pest control. Its the least I could do for the help he gave me this week. I phoned him late in an absolute panic upset state with what I thought were bed bugs. He answered straight away and reassured me with a calm voice. I sent him over some videos / pictures on WhatsApp and he immediately called me back to reassure me they were not bed bugs! He explained what he thought they were and promised to call back the next day to confirm.
He called me back in the morning to confirm the bugs and explained how I could treat them myself. I’m so grateful for his help, any other company could have ripped me off and said I needed an expensive treatment but he was honest and fair. I hope I won’t need any other pest control services any time soon but I certainly know who to call if I do and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you again Charlie!
