Very poor service today. I needed 1 last tin of paint. Couldn’t see it so I went to the till. Oh it could be discontinued or we might get some in stock but I don’t know when. I had to look on my phone to find they had two tins!! Nobody in the shop so don’t understand why she didn’t look. I actually travelled 30 mile round trip. Think I’ll start using my local now. She couldn’t have cared any less.
Quick and easy collection of online order. Please ask for a receipt as one is not always given. I had to get in touch with the helpline to get one. I bought a karcher k3 pressure washer kit, which was cheaper here than other place at the time. Staff are very polite too which is always a bonus.
Customer toilets now padlocked closed.
‘Customer Service’ told me that they don’t have to provide Customer Toilets because they don’t serve food!
Good news is B&Q have customer toilets.
These things are important when shopping with small children etc.

Visited this store to buy a goldfish I’ve had the tank set up for 3 days with the water temperature etc so it was ready. To be told it needs to be set up for 7 days!! Which is ridiculous it’s between 48 and 72 hours says all over the Internet, also was told they couldn’t sell me a fish as my 16 litre tank was too small they needed to be 20 litres but you’ve clearly got about 20 poor fish stuffed into a small tank yourselves whilst preaching to me your ridiculous and over the top rules make it make sense!!!
Small selection of fish, one tank containing guppies had 3 on the bottom, dying. Put me off, so I didn’t buy any fish. Staff were friendly though, and they had a big supply of food and accessories for pets.
The staff were really helpful. It’s a bit expensive though. Not that there’s anywhere cheap these day’s but 75 quid for a 15kg of dry dog food is ludicrous. The range of tinned wet food was disappointing

Went in to buy light weight work trousers asked the assistant that the pair I had chose out of the brochure were light weight, he programmed the number in went and got the product and said could open the package and check ,just what I wanted great service
Sometimes a bit pricey for what you get (can often find similar online for cheaper) but never had an issue – staff always happy to help; dealing with customers politely and professionally, even moreso in the midst of the pandemic.

Been purchasing our bird food from them for years after a recommendation and as a business owner I prefer and value a recommendation way above any advert.
It’s really nice when we visit as they always remember our names and ask how things are, it’s not just for the sake of asking its genuine.
Prices are competitive and quality is far superior than we used to purchase from nationwide pet food suppliers.

I have been buying bird food from them for many years ! They sell the highest quality I have ever come across. They sell a variety of food for animals too. The nicest people who really care about what they do. They grow many of the seeds themselves. A pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend!!!

I recently had a deeply unpleasant situation with rats finding their way into my house. Mike from Eildon Pest Control attended quickly, traced where the little horrors were getting in, laid the bait (safely out of the way where my pets wouldn’t be in danger) and by the following week all the bait was taken and Roland had left the building. He made two follow up visits just to be certain they were gone, the hole outside has been cemented up and I can once again sleep at night. I can’t recommend this company highly enough, a fast, friendly and efficient service and a very unpleasant problem solved.
I rang eildon pest control and a lady answered and was very polite and was very professional in getting my mums problem fitted in . But Mike went out his way to fit my mum’s wasp nest in the morning and he was very friendly and very professional and did the job to a very high standard. Absolute pleasure will definitely recommend to everyone . A massive thank you to Mike and the eildon pest control team .
Although we didn’t actually end up calling Mike out to look at our wasp problem, he was extremely responsive, helpful, and reassuring via email. Wouldn’t hesitate to use the service in future if we have any issues.

I’m not one for leaving a bad review but customer service is needing improved. I booked in March just before lock down started in Scotland on the day of the booking I had to message to see if they could still work they replyed saying they were waitting for confirmation whats fair enough they could of messaged to explaining what was going on. to keep customers up to date with whats going on a week later I never heard anything so texted again they said there still waiting on approval from the government and since then I have heard nothing. I understand its a strange time with whats going on but communication with customers would of went a long way. a message or a call with roughly when you think you would be back working would of went a long way
After contacting Robbie about a wasp nest in our house he arrived within the hour. He delt with the wasp nest within seconds and even got himself stung for his trouble haha. He explained what the spray was that he used and how it worked. By the next morning there wasn’t a
Prompt, professional and friendly service to remove a troublesome wasp nest this morning. I can’t fault the business, which responded quickly to my call and kept in touch so that I knew exactly when the operatives were arriving.
