Phoned up these guys after being recommend them by allerdale council due to them no longer having a pest department.Spoke to the most amazing lady who was friendly and very helpful and gave me a time and a price for a wasp problem I had.A lovely fella arrived when advised and I showed him the problem.Right away he said it was a bumble bee nest and straight away advised not to touch it and leave it due to it not doing any harm .Took the advice as personally I love bumble bees yet couldn’t recognise them myself (what a wally.) Felt bad for the fella due to wasting his time .The price quoted was cheap and I mean cheap and apologised for time wasting.One thing I’ve learnt is what bumble bees look like from distance due to not wearing my glasses and that this company are fantastic to deal with.Many thanks for your time and I would definitely recommended you guys in the future.
I have used Cumbria Pest Services in the past for wasp nest removals and have always been completely satisfied by the service. I recently contacted them about another problem and once again I could not have asked for a better service. Excellent customer service with very friendly staff, visit arranged promptly with good communication about appointment. Very professional staff member came to visit who took time to get information about the problem and passed on a lot of information and advice during the process. Very conscientious and thorough job.
I contacted them around 11am after discovering an active wasp nest in the loft. They attended the same day around 4pm and quickly dealt with the problem. Couldn’t ask for a better rapid service. Thank you. As a comparison, I did contact Allerdale council just before contacting Cumbria Pest control. They told me it would be just under 2 weeks before they could attend and were more expensive!

The person who came from the company was fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. Kept me informed throughout the visit as to what he was doing. Felt he really listened and went the extra mile. Would highly recommend this company.
The receptionist never know anything and have to ring back. That’s if they ever do, lost count of the amount of times they never bothered to call back.
Honestly cant thank the guys at GP Enviromental enough for there help in my house recently treating my mice problem.

We had woodworm throughout our ground floor area and in our eaves and attic space. In the process of finding someone to help we came across a few “specialists” and a crooked loss adjuster, all of which gave us a bit of a runaround. Luckily we came across APS who visited our property the same week. Their surveyor Jonathan carried out an inspection of works and answered the many questions and concerns we had. Within a few days they sent me the assessment and costs which was very reasonable given the scale of work. Their communication was great, the timeline of work was over 2 weeks and they did a fantastic job removing all the old flooring, treating the woodworm and restoring the ground floor with new pinewood flooring. Even with the little bits of snagging at the end they were more than happy to complete. Would highly recommend APS above any other preservation company.
From start to finish the APS team were great. Johnny in particular who facilitated all works was great at communicating throughout and understood / managed exactly what we were expecting.
They completed damp proofing in every room in our house and also facilitated insulated plasterboard in two of our rooms which has made a big difference to the heating in our home.
They were professional and efficient throughout, and at any point i was back in the home to see progress they were friendly & the house was always as tidy as it could have been which was appreciated.
Great work and would recommend using them for related works in your home, its made a massive difference to our home.
