Would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for pest control. My girlfriend and I initially had a bed bug problem in our old place and had Poulins come in. We only found one bug in our suite as the infestation stemmed from a downstairs suite. After 2 heat treatments and an insecticide spray we were told after a final inspection that the problem had been resolved. Regardless we moved to a different house, where 3 months later found bed bugs/nests in a couch that had been treated and inspected. While I understand that bed bugs are extremely difficult to get rid of, I would’ve appreciated a little more honestly about the problem not being fully resolved; as we are now liable for cost of treatment at our new place.
Also, after finding the bug in our new place I immediately went back to Poulins where they recommended I buy a $50.00 jug of insecticide and self apply before going with full treatment. They refused to take it back after we went with a different service even though I never used any product and all the seals were still intact. I was not informed until trying to return this that everything is final sale. On top of all this I was not pleased at any point with the customer service. It was just not good.
All in all they did nothing but add stress to an already stressful situation. Please look elsewhere.
I had a pest control issue so I called Poulins. The man who answered, Jon, was so helpful and got me in same day (within an hour of me calling!). The technician, Richard, who came to my house was absolutely awesome – kind, knowledgable and personable- and answered all my questions patiently (even the silliest ones!) and went above and beyond. The service was flawless. They definitely made a stressful situation easy and painless! Would recommend to anyone!
I use Poulin’s for the business I run in Saskatoon. The staff is amazing. They have always bent over backwards to make sure we are taken care of. Otherwise be careful with their practices. In 2023, we requested their pest control services (ants + spiders), which was satisfactory and costed $210. However, in April 2024, we received an email from Truly Nolen, which contained a Pre-Payment Letter that “confirmed” scheduled services with us. This “confirmed schedule” was unilateral notification from Truly Nolen without consultation from us. More importantly, the price they “billed” for the same service (ants + spiders) was now $392 as pre-payment.
Part of the letter says “We would like to thank you for choosing Truly Nolen Pest Control. For your convenience our services stay active from year to year. This is a confirmation of the services scheduled for your property during the season. If this differs from your records or if you need any additional services please contact our office.” – Which is worded in such as misleading way that sounds almost like a scam. At no point in my previous service with the company, had I requested a subscription service, in which the bill is higher than 80% compared to the previous year.
Customer support was nice and did not hesitate to go through the cancellation, which was good. But the fact that I had to do this sours my impression of the company, and would likely not use their services again.
We had a family of raccoons nesting in one of our chimney flues; Truly Nolen was the only pest control agency in the city that provided an effective humane solution to removing our furry guests (the city’s wildlife control does not service residential properties, and they are rude and unhelpful, while most pest control agencies do not do raccoons). Jeremy was very kind, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful, installing bated live traps on the roof, checking in frequently, and then installing a cover over the flues after the raccoons had vacated while we waited for a chimney cap to be installed (and to have our chimney cleaned). Truly Nolen does more than spiders and ants; they are one of very few agencies that does wildlife control on residential properties and they employ safe, effective, and humane solutions from my experience. And they are good at spider and ant control too.
We had an ugly surprise of wasps in our house today! They were flying into our living room through a small hole they had made from the exterior wall. I contacted the company and chatted with Jeremy who was very helpful and efficient. Landon came and helped resolve the problem. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This company will now be our go-to Pest control option if we ever need this type of service again.

I have tried and exhausted every possible and affordable remedy (traps, onions, essential oils, etc) to get rid of the loud mice scratching my wall day and night. I have had enough and decided to search the best pest control to call in Saskatoon.
I stumbled upon his great reviews (from local people too). From our initial phone call to when he came over for inspection, you could tell that Wendell knows how to deal with mice. I have done my research prior but I have learned a lot from him. Wendell pointed out the mice entry point right away and now we have an idea as to what to do/where to start/how we can eliminate our mice problem.

If you’re going to hire for pest control, this is the company you need to call 100%. Wendell is incredibly personable and so easy to contact. Not only does he know what he’s doing, he loves what he’s doing so you’re in the best of hands. I had a roach problem in my apartment and after a few days following the treatment, there was a very noticeable improvement and I was seeing close to zero activity which was coming from seeing them everywhere in the kitchen all the time. Just finished a follow-up treatment and these bugs are going to be gone for good. For two treatments, the price is also very hard to beat. What Discreet Pest Control does works and I would highly recommend them to everyone.
We’ve had the best experience with Discreet Pest Control and highly recommend this company. Courteous and professional service from the phone call to the in person conversation. First they eliminated an underground wasp nest between our house and concrete patio slab at the start of the summer. We then called them for another nest under our front steps. When the first treatment of the front step didn’t eliminate them all, they returned free of charge and solved the problem. Really can’t say enough about their commitment to getting the job done right – just awesome. I also learned a lot about wasp control!

This pest control company provided an abysmal service for treating bedbugs. Firstly, the technician arrived an hour late, which disrupted my schedule. Secondly, despite charging exorbitantly, the treatment was ineffective as bedbugs are still rampant. The company operates as a one-man show, with the same individual answering calls, managing operations, and conducting treatments. To top it off, the technician was unable to answer basic questions about the infestation and displayed rude and disrespectful behavior. Overall, I’m thoroughly disappointed with their service and would advise others to steer clear of this unprofessional outfit, and also all 5 stars reviews are fake.
Very impressed with Prairie Pest Control! We had a terrible mouse infestation inside our home, and we had Hired three other Exterminators who were unable to get the problem under control. Thanks to Malik from Prairie Pest Control, The infestation was controlled and we haven’t had a mouse since eight years later! Malik Was able to locate where the mice are coming into the house and resolve the problem quickly. He was very kind and informative as well. I have recommended him to everyone I know who has needed a good exterminator and will continue to. I’m hoping I never need an exterminator again, but if I do, I will be calling Malik At Prairie Pest control.

We had just got possession of our new home and on the initial walk through I saw a bedbug crawling on the wall. I contacted Glen and he responded immediately. Came the next day to investigate free of charge. Couldn’t see anything but because we had he referred us to have the house checked my a sniffer dog (which was super cool haha) dog came in and didn’t hit on anything but was interested in an area so I booked Glen for piece of mind. To know there are trustworthy businesses who don’t just take your money and spend the time investigating and also educating is priceless. I originally called them randomly to get some advice on our situation. They were very understanding and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I might have. They provided me with information on the entire process and fees. They went out of their way to accommodate us. They then were dealing with my mom for the actual appointments for the treatments and the customer service there was just as amazing. I’ve never dealt with a company so understanding and full of compassion. I would HIGHLY recommend them again! Hopefully we never have a reason to use them again, but if we do, they will be the first ones we call!
I cannot believe we are finally living Roach free… it’s been a long journey with multiple pest companies to get to this point, with complicated transient renters in the downstairs suite, but Eric helped us get there. We are so grateful! He always took the time to answer our questions fully, was incredibly professional, and had great communication with us. I felt like we were on a team together! Hitman treated our house for cockroaches and I couldn’t recommend them more. They were courteous, fast and they took the time to explain what they were doing and how it worked. We had used another company before them that did a terrible job and never showed up for the second treatment.

We had wasps setting up under our front concrete steps. We had tried putting down ant power over the hole we saw them crawling in a couple times, but it did not deter them and they just created a new hole. Once the activity really started increasing and we saw them coming out of the other side of the steps as well, we decided to have professionals deal with it.
We were very happy with Pest in Peace Control Solutions. They were so fast, honestly coming within 10 minutes of me texting them on a Friday afternoon.
We retreated to the safety of the house while they sprayed and dug out what ended up being 2 separate good sized nests that had formed on the underside of the hollow under the concrete. They bagged the nests to dispose of them. It was way more complicated than I had imagined and $300 well spent.
They put a different powder down after and said to call them back if I was still seeing any activity come Monday. It’s Monday now and I have seen nothing in the last two days. Problem solved!
We had an apparent wasps’ nest under our front step. Many of them were flying in and out, and it was becoming scary to walk out the front door. It was especially difficult to get at as it is a wooden set of stairs built over the original concrete steps. I requested an online quote from Pest in Peace on a Monday evening, thinking that they’d get back to me the next day. However, Martin responded that night and was over the next afternoon. He checked out the situation, gave me a very reasonable quote, and then got to work on the spot. He was assisted by Marta, and they were a great team! In less than an hour, under some difficult conditions, the wasps were eradicated, and I once again felt safe on my front steps! I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to call them again should the need arise.

Martin came over the same day that I called him. At first I thought it was just to take a look at the wasp nest that I wanted him to get rid of, but then he said, “Ok, let’s take care of it right now”. Within 30 minutes the nest was completely gone. Way better than other pest control companies I contacted who told me they couldn’t come for 1-2 weeks. Very professional. Everyone from the office to the gentleman that came to check out my house was awesome. They said they were pretty booked up but gave me an appointment for the very next day which i greatly appreciated. He did a very thorough check around my home, gave me some helpful advice. And got me set up to get rid of the insects. He will be doing a follow up in about 5 days to see if the problem has been resolved.
Shirley was wonderful and got me booked in fairly quick for an Appointment. Mike is knowledgeable, answered all the questions I had and set out the bait/ traps on his visit. Aswell, Orkin is very affordable. Overall fantastic experience. I will definitely be working with them again.

We have had pigeons on our balcony for a long time and they created a mess. We could not use the balcony. We contacted Greenpest and they solved our issue effectively and efficiently. Kal is very professional. He did an excellent job cleaning and disinfecting our balcony and netting it to prevent the pigeons from coming back. Edited.. We had a wasp nest removed today, the job was done properly. After he left we went out to check as we are naturally curious people. We had some concerns initially but the owner was prompt to reach out to us and has rectified the issues. Really great communication and timely respones.

In general, but these guys were fantastic.
Fast, Effective, Efficient.
I had a recent cockroaches invasion in the kitchen, and after a week of DIY traps with minimal success, I decided to call in the professionals.
The technicians was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything he was doing. He assessed the situation
The treatment itself was quick and painless. The technicians answered all my questions about pet safety and what to expect in the coming days. The technicians even followed up with a call a few days later to check in and see if I’d noticed any improvement and a inspection a week later. Thankfully, the cockroaches are gone (From what i can tell)
Overall, I highly recommend these guys. They were professional, efficient, and got the job done right.

After 2 days, lots of dead roaches started appearing in the kitchen. Very reassuring to see.
After 5 days, I wasn’t able to find any live ones, even at night in the kitchen (where they were previously throwing nightly parties ).
After a week, they’re probably already 99% dead and any survivors that may eventually come out of hiding looking for a snack are about to have their last supper.
