Joey Vokey was the technician who came to deal with a large wasps nest in our greenhouse. It was located in the peak of the greenhouse just inside the door, so an awkward place to work with. Also, I am growing cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and herbs there, which meant that the remedy could not involve toxic chemicals. Joey strategized the take-down of the nest and came back in the middle of a downpour later that afternoon and again the next day (a holiday) to complete the clean-up. It seems the wasps got the message and have not attempted to rebuild the nest. I was very impressed with Joey’s thoughtful approach to the problem and his determination to follow it through to completion. Excellent service overall, especially the prompt response and great communications!
David was very informative and helpful in his recommendations to us. As it was a new to us home purchase (previously owned) we wanted to ensure we didn’t have any surprises. We know going foward our home will be as bug free as possible, any possible rodents will be addressed and we can enjoy our home knowing it is well maintained. Plus Orkin does ongoing checks of the home inside and out. Great service!

Recently had starlings nesting in our stove hood vent. Received great advice and assistance from Rick, who advised on how long it would be until the babies left the nest. Then he came by and cleaned out the vent using a slick bit of equipment that kept things from blowing into the house. Also capped the vent with a new grill to keep them from coming back. All around great service, greatly appreciated!

This is the second pest control company that I have hired. The technician for the last company was not very thorough. These guys serve large service areas and have a finite amount of time for each visit. In the same amount of time, Brian ( or Ryan?) with Terminix was very thorough and patient with us as we front-loaded him with all of the info we could provide. He identified areas not looked at by the other company, educated us, answered all of our questions, and gave me some great ideas about what I could do before the next service visit.
Commercial is probably different but for residential……Be ready for them when they arrive. Think about what you are going to tell them. Have the area cleared so they can go to work. Listen carefully for their suggestions. Ask what YOU can do before the next service visit. Getting your money’s worth out of that first 90 day service visit is really up to you!
My experience with Lamonte,Terminix was excellent ! He was professional, showed up to my place at the time he committed to, took the time to answer any and all questions I had for him regarding different types of pests in this area. Then without hesitation, he went ahead, Nd done his treatment for ants around my house, in and out, and had everything we both observed, treated.
Great work by Lamonte , I will be calling him again when needed.
The Terminix representative had great interpersonal skills. Also, quite knowledgeable and was not only able to answer all of my questions but happy to share his information. It has been several days and the pest issue I had seems to be completely under control. I’m not only happy with my service but impressed with the employee as well. I will not hesitate to call again if needed, and will certainly recommend Terminix in the future
