A nice supermarket for the normal weekly groceries. They have a large car park so no problems parking your car. They have an ok variety of meat and fish, but the vegetables and fruit quality is a bit sub par.
This place is extremely difficult to find the entrance to the parking, you can see it, but to find the correct entrance is something else. The store itself is nothing special.

Um local que recomendo para quem queira comprar qualquer tipo de plantas, ou flores, do interior ou exterior, tambem pode encontrar arvores de frutos diversos, assim como para a horta tudo o que quiser semear ou plantar.
Tambem se vende varias qualidades de terra. Tudo isto com um atendimento, muito simpatico.
Wonderful selection of plants, herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to share information on how and where to plant and care. Update: been here 3 times and the staff continue to be wonderful! Fully recommend.

Espaco adequado para compra produtos para animais e jardins. Funcionarios dedicados e zelosos. No entanto, ao fim de semana, quando a afluencia de clientes e maior, o numero de carrinhos de compras e insuficiente tornando o tempo dispensado para esta tarefa bastante demorado e dificil, nomeadamente no transporte de racoes.
Estou super desiludida com a parte dos animais, repteis sem condicoes, pequenos roedores feridos e a luta, quando fui avisar a funcionaria de que estava um gerbo ferido e a “levar” do outro a senhora disse que ia chamar um colega mas como esperava ninguem quis saber e ninguem foi tentar separa-los ou tratar dele
Funcionarios sem qualquer formacao, pessimo atendimento por parte de 3 funcionarios (Luis – Gerente da Agriloja Setubal e Teresa Claro Departamento Qualidade e um deles nao quiz dizer o nome). Mal educados, arrogantes, rudes. Nao voltarei certamente e nao recomendarei a familiares e amigos.

Very poor and slow costumer service. Came here to get fish and on two consecutive days and I waited more than 20min at the fish section. First day waited for almost 30min as no one was there to serve; i asked a worker to call them; server wad nowhere to be found; when server arrived was very rude and didn’t apologise for the wait. Today there was 8 costumers ahead of me and once again only one person to serve everyone; she’s very slow; rude and didn’t apologise for the wait.

1.6 eur 1 liter beer is a very nice start. If you wanna have a drink or get something to eat in a snap, that’s the place. Also they have a nice variety of you got more time to cook. All in all it’s fine, good variety and affordable prices.

Scammer !!!! We ordered by internet our food. At the delivery it missed more than 50 euros of our order, and they only refund us 30 euros… even we proves everything they refuse to refund all the goods missing. We will never go or order to Continente ! Its a real shame
Never order online from continente. Their personnel are absolutely not qualified to do anything right. Mixed bags from other people not having our own bags. Spilled food etc etc. Total clownshow.
Great selection of products, the “bigger” Continente compared to the Bom Dia variant in Portugal, which should have stock for almost everything.
Decently cleaned and organized.

Except, in the bakery department of the store, three croissants were not served to me because I was not in the right waiting column while nothing is specified in particular, pathetic!
Since then I no longer frequent this department, scrub because all the products are excellent!
Good size continente, should eventually expand the size as it is always full and lacks a little variety and products that other continentes have. They should also hire more cashiers so they will reduce the lines in rush hour. All in all very bright and good place for groceries.
Overall a nice, clean store with many local food options and seasonal fruits and vegetables. The international food choices are somewhat sparse though. The staff are helpful and friendly and a high percentage of them speak good English.

How is this store a modelo? Its way too small to be a hypermarket. Choice is poor.

Probably the largest supermarket in the vicinity. Also it’s surrounded by numerous other shops, including mobile operators, photo shops, clothes shops of different brands, pet shops, furniture and decoration shops and of course a food court. Auchan itself restructuring frequently, on one side it probably bringing something new, on another – it’s always hard to find stuff. Due to this I prefer to visit it only if the item I want can’t be found in other shops.
As best as we have found, Auchan Setubal is the most extensive and complete grocery store (ignoring the “supermercado” features) in town. The cheese section alone is incredible. Seafood section is great too (pickled herring anyone? Caviar?), and I know where to go for turkey (though the whole Turkeys are a bit on the EUREUR side). Bolt or Uber pick you up right outside the store.
A very well stocked and well organized store. You can find everything for your home needs here. They have groceries, produce, meat and fresh fish but they also have housewares like towels and sheets. They even have a sizable luggage section. Most importantly the prices are reasonable.

Almost every time I order groceries from this store, my order comes incomplete, completely wrong or without obvious items– stolen.
But the worst of these occurrences happened today. When I ordered EUR60 worth of groceries and got totally scammed. See my receipt below listing the items I ordered and the photos of what they actually delivered– via UBER EATS.
The employees of this store are dishonest. And the store does nothing to reprimand them.
There are too many other good supermarkets around to put up with this kind of unprofessional business.
I’ll NEVER SHOP at CONTINENTE again!

I am a good delivery worker .i compline to you first time . Before I had this problem many time but I ignored, but now is enough.your stuff is very rude , mannerless , .and they don’t work at work time . We all r waiting for one delivery 1 h , if we asked for they shouting making joke . Please do your attention and talk with your employee and resolve this problem otherwise I will compiling your higher authority.
