Nice supermarket with everything you need. It is not a very cheap supermarket. They also have a coffee corner where you can drink coffee with some pastry’s or have some sandwiches. The coffee corner is not expensive.
Clean, well organized with helpful staff and good selections. Limited, but as expected, vegetarian options.
Good place. I had a lunch in that place. Very clean place, and polite staff.

Very few selection. I expected a huge supermarket but it’s actually quite small.
Wen’t to a big shopping centre 3min away from there. The had a smaller version of a Walmart like inside. The shopping centre is called MAR SHOPPING
Venho falar sobre a lanchonete do mercado, uma decepcao o abatanado tem gosto de agua com leite esta cada vez pior, isso depende muito de quem esta a trabalhar porque tem dias que o cafe sai maravilhoso e o atendimento tambem.
Almocos sao aquecidos no Microondas…. Ate ouvia a campainha do microondas a tocar… E encontrei o que comi a venda no supermercado… O Continente devia ter vergonha de servir comida aquecida no microondas!

My cafe point next to the shop experience is bad. As for the not confident Portuguese speaker it was easier to speak English, but the cashier did not speak, and when I tried to speak Portuguese just started ignoring me.
The combo-menus option that was in the infographic (tosta + bebida) was not available or simply she didn’t get it despite I repeted several times and showed it in the wall. finally I chose the baguette and got another one that I had the allergy to. Instead of helping me out with changing it she just decided to ask someone else to deal with it. Very poor and rude.

Lots of variety and choice. This is a very LARGE Continente and has everything you need. Has vegan, gluten free, protein products and all the usual things you would expect in any large supermarket. Also clothes and household goods…just EVERYTHING.
Continent branches often come with ‘Note’ which is stationary and books and a place you can get printing done. Also ‘Wortens’ which is an electrical shop that has all things computer and electrical.
In this mini shopping mall is is also a pet supply shop, pharmacy, dry cleaners, sport shop, phone shop, beauty shop, cafe, Pizza Hut, key cutting and more.
My favorite supermarket in Porto. It reminds me of the good old Walmart, because you’ll find what you need in there. Prices are very competitive and local.
Staff is usually very nice.
The fruits section people will cut any watermelon or melon or even pineapple in half for you to check the quality and take as much as you need.
They also have a fresh orange juice machine that you activate yourself in bottles.
I recommend this store to my friends and family.

The worst! The lines are 15 people deep and slow going (on a regular bases). Finally they open another line but leave those who had already been waiting 15 min stuck to continue waiting for another 15 min while letting the people who just got in line go ahead into the new line. I literally watch people walk in shop and moved into the new line and leave while standing in line. We were stuck between in the aisle and not allowed to move into the newly opened line. Very poor management of the store. Also was due 8EUR and was given it all in 0.50 piece and less – 2 handfuls. Ridiculous- how hard is it to keep the cash register with EUR5, EUR2 and 1’s? So unless you have an hour to shop and pay for 2 items find someplace else shop!
I have been coming here from time to time to buy little things like water, and every time I’m here, the people at the store are very friendly. The cashiers, in particular, always greet me with a smile and a ‘hello’ and make sure to say ‘thank you.’ Their courteous and welcoming attitude keeps me coming back.

Used to be an amazing experience. Now it has drips during rains, the amazing cashiers and coffee attendants left or where pushed to leave. The butcher and fisher parts are still great, but in the the end slow lines with too green and unempathetic cashiers makes the experience less than ideal. The product variety is always a roulette, even for in-house brands. Management and customer support still works fine, if the store is not crowded and you manage to avoid peak time.
Coffee is always understaffed.
Since it is , as the very brand states internally, a place for everyday and emergent necessities, it is ok. Luckily we have a Lidl across street and a Pingo Doce and Mini Preco roughly 300-400m so one is always, anyhow , served when in need.
Btw, the parking is always a horrible and sufferable experience, due to the fact drivers in PT think they all own a fair share of parking lots and streets. Spots are tight, some ppl park as their own personal spot, the pathway is really tight, inner corner spots usually guarantee a nice scratch (at least).
The police officers , when present, just do not pay attention to the parking.
Larger than usual Bom Dia. Fresh product, quick service, not crowded. We go time to time and its generally satisfying. The prices are good and the discount program is OK compared with other’s.

This hypermarket has a tremendous selection, especially for foreign items like Polish pickles and Greek olives. We can find things here we can’t find anywhere else such as the Swifter line of cleaning products. Aucham has an excellent wine and spirits department with brands not common elsewhere. They have a nice selection of the Portuguese brown pottery at good prices. Huge selection of fresh meats and fish and a deli counter. Great spice selection. Decent Asian and Mexican items. While not perfect it is quite good.
As the name says it is very big. It is difficult not to find something inside. It has a good location and very competitive prices. Although is a bit out of reach for me, still I visit it time to time for specific products. It provides not only many product but many choices of the same product, with price, tastes and quality variations. The positioning also is very good, inside a very popular shoping.
Huge supermarket with basically everything you would ever need for your daily food and wellbeing. A lot of different brands and types of products for all kinds of price points and quality levels. There’s also a pick how much you want for grains and cereals, so you pay just what you need. Highly recommended
